2 ★ None of the prompts are working and the graphics are not showing. I can only input my mood and the writing prompt that follows that.
3 ★ I love the concept, but I think it would be great if there was an option to journal/type right within the app rather than an actual journal
5 ★ This app is absolutely amazing. Today I've written 8 pages and counting of how i can improve myself, how i can find my true happy and much much more. I love this so so much
5 ★ This app is easy to use, and laid out in a way that is very user friendly. No glitches or bugs! The journaling guides (called dives) are easily customizable to how you're feeling and what you're going through. The audio recordings are very soothing, and really help to prompt introspection. Writer's block isn't an issue when using this app at all! Totally recommend!
4 ★ I am really enjoying the prompts. I like that you physically write things down. Concept wise I think this app is great! However, the app itself could use some fixes. The calibration off a bit. I found I have to touch the screen in a spot that isn't what logically makes sense. I also feel that during the prompts some quiet soft background noise would help.. The silence makes me question if the app stopped working so i stop my meditation to see if it's still on.
5 ★ I think it is an awesome app but I wish you had more options. For instance you have student, working professional, parent and one other. You should think about adding a few more. Maybe an option for someone who is unemployed and not a parent and not a student. I am a stay at home wife and well not a parent yet. So none of those options are for me. Maybe add something like single adult or married adult. Well You get what I'm saying. I just think more options should be available.
3 ★ Got around to spending some time with this app, and generally found the content to be a bit lackluster for the price. Tried a few dives, and they all seemed to ask the same thing at the end, and be somewhat inconsistent with what the guided journalling/meditation was looking for. Imagine you just journalled, and the ending audio exercise asks you to wrap it up by finishing the sentence on screen, to be greeted by the question "what did you dive about today?" Spending my effort elsewhere.
2 ★ I like prompt journaling but I hated the prompts. They were too vague and open-ended, and 6 minutes isn't long enough to write more than a few lines. I don't recommend them to anyone with mental health issues as I frequently found myself writing things like "what I discovered is that I hate myself" (which isn't even true!) Additionally, I found the whispery ASMR-ish voice telling me to put down my pen grating. Then it was almost impossible to delete! Yikes. Not for me.
5 ★ "Some mindful Journaling at its very best" - That's what I would say. The app has proven to be my self- introspecting spot. Loved the core idea of the app as it allows me to buy out some time off the daily schedule and pen down the things that I want to, but yes, the UI could really look for a helping hand to look more appealing and making people stay. Overall its a great app and yeah "Let's DiveThru!!!" 👏🏼👏🏼
2 ★ Irritated that these apps refuse to give you the truth about pricing! I saw that it said "in app purchases" here in Playstore, but I looked ALL OVER that site and didn't see a single mention of price. I was really excited to try this app considering it addresses anxiety. But once it was installed, there was a HUGE selection of 'dives' but you either paid so much a month or I think it was $89 a year. Uninstalling and suggesting that Google require these creators state price UP FRONT!
1 ★ I was really excited to try this app, but the amount of problems with it make it so frustrating, which isn't really what you want when trying to journal about your emotions! If you try and work through a course the app randomly skips days and doesn't track progress properly. Reached out to the support team who only asked if I had my app updated, I did, and they never got back to me again. Frustrating.
5 ★ Thanks to this app I was able to get back to journaling for almost everyday. The prompts, evaluation and summary after a journaling session is the best part of the app. I wish there were more time options and the text of the "welcome back to day x" gives more info about the prompt. Only reoccurring problems are: half the time I can't use the slider and sometimes the audio starts and stops. I believe this app will only get better as new prompts are added. It made me love journaling.
2 ★ i was really looking forward to trying this app out but the voices are unbearable. the first one was so jarring I had to quickly take my headphones off. that's a pity because the idea and layout of this app seemed amazing and I was sure I was gonna like it! I tried another dive and the voice was different, but not better. I know it is not feasible to redo all those audio recordings but I also know that I will not be able to journal/focus properly with THOSE voices speaking. gonna uninstall 😩
5 ★ I'm so grateful that this app exists! It was the love at first try; the voice was soothing and the prompt was awesome! It has not disappointed me. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants and/or needs a few minutes of self-reflection each day; it will absolutely help calm down your mind. I love the flexibility of being able to choose however long I feel like journaling each day, whether it be 6, 12, or 18 minutes, and no matter what, I'm still doing something kind for myself. Worth giving a try if you haven't already!
4 ★ I have completed two "dives" so far, the jumpstart and one to on process a painful emotion. I can confidently say that this app is great! GREAT: - Before the journaling prompt, it audibly guides you to calm and connect with yourself - It only prompts us to enter the gained insight, leaving the more personal writing outside of the app. GROW: - I hope to see a deeper "post dive" portion. - Needs more ways to self identify in the profile
