**REQUIREMENTS**
• Android phone running OS 5.0 or later
• DIRECTV customers must have a Residential Home account registered on DIRECTV's website to access the DIRECTV app for tablets
• Watching On Demand or select Live TV Streaming channels outside the home requires an active Wi-Fi or 3G/4G Internet connection. For best performance, connect to a strong Wi-Fi signal.
• Available content is based on your current programming package and premium service. Not all content is available to stream at this time
• Live TV Streaming in-home only channels and remote control requires a Wi-Fi connection to your home network and a DIRECTV Plus® HD DVR (models R22, and HR20 or higher) connected to a broadband Internet connection. Remote control also works with HD receivers (models H21, H23 or higher) connected to a broadband Internet connection
• DVR streaming and downloading requires Internet-connected Genie HD DVR model HR44 or higher and compatible mobile device. To download, must be in-home on same Wi-Fi network connected to DVR
• App download, advertisements and non-streaming app activity may incur data usage
• Scheduling a recording requires a Wi-Fi, or mobile network connection and a DIRECTV Plus® DVR or HD DVR
• Receivers do not require phone or Internet connection to schedule a recording
In rare instances, scheduled recording(s) may not be recognized. Only available on certain receivers.

1 ★ On a service call, someone from Directv came to my home and showed me this app. He also tried to get me to switch over to AT&T with my cell service, which I politely declined. The app worked just fine that day. But now I can't download anything from my queue. I keep getting an error message saying that this app is not responding.
2 ★ Very buggy. The timeline bar as if I tapped the screen just pops up on its own all the time. Seems like every 5 times I go into the app it acts like I've never signed in before and it sometimes tells me I'm not allowed to watch even though I'm 100% positive I've entered the correct email and password. RR of FF doesn't work very well at all. With today's tech the user experience should be a lot better.
1 ★ I hate this app. I have to keep uninstalling and installing to get it to work. Can't stream inside my house. Can't wait untill my contract is up. I told them when we discussed packages my local channels were most important to me, and thats the ones I have the biggest problem streaming.😡 June 2021 still the worst app I have. Gotten worst.
1 ★ This app is constantly giving me problems. If you pause your show and go back in, it's never where you stopped it. It will randomly stop playing shows and the screen gets stuck on "Authorizing" or "Optimizing." I've never been so frustrated by an app. If you accidently click on one of the many commercials, it loses your spot when you get back to your show. I expect so much more from a well known company.
1 ★ This app is ridiculous. 99.9% it doesn't work or takes 5 minutes to load. And then, stops and makes you start all over. Why doesn't it just resume where you left off?! Why can't I fast-forward my recorded shows?! This app is garbage. They need to delete and start all over. Come on developers!
1 ★ We like DirecTv better than any other service, we don't like the locked ads in streaming, we stream to watch our favorite shows and movies, yet the ads are locked so no fast forwarding is possible. All it does is frustrate us as viewers and if this continues we may leave (ATT) DIRECTV and go to another streaming service. We are paying to watch the show not ads
1 ★ Don't get Directv! They always try to charge more. When you cancel them they keep charging you months later with made up stuff! Turned in ALL the equipment ON TIME paid the last bill ON TIME. I asked if everything was paid in full they said yes... but we keep getting bills from them with a notice saying if you dont pay this random b.s. made up bill they will withdraw it from your bank anyways!
1 ★ This app is one of the worst apps I've ever had. My family hasn't been able to stream live TV, which is part of our package, consistently for months now. I've called several times (duration of each call lasted a minimum of 1 hour) and each time we ended with the issue unresolved.
1 ★ Trash. At this point you should hire new developers. It's just trash. Crashes and won't load. Used it two weeks ago just fine but now it won't do anything after logging in but crash. I even uninstalled and tried this one instead of the tablet version. Both are garbage and should be pulled from the play store.
1 ★ Wow, this app sucks. Keeps bombing. If you only want to watch 5-10 minutes of your show before it crashes, this app is for you! If you actually want to watch the whole show, subscribe to something else.
1 ★ Lately the travel channel keeps haveing the same error... Video stream is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.(4100) It doesnt matter what time of day or where i am it always says this. Very frustrating!!!
1 ★ If I can give it a 0 stars I would. With so many streaming services out there that have no issues streaming you'd think directv/att would get their act together. App stuck in authorizing 99% of the time. Do not get this app.
1 ★ This is the most awful app ever made, it crashes it's awful slow, DVR recording disappear once download to phone. I will cancel my service and find another tv provider with a functional app.
1 ★ This app never works well consistently. The screen stays on loading or authorizing. I have to restart my phone every time to get the app to work. The spectrum app is much better, I'll switch back to spectrum
1 ★ I have changed my password several times and I'm still not able to log in to use the app. I was kicked out Sunday night while watching TV and haven't been able to use it since. I get an error message every single time I try to login.
