OTG View 4.3.9 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows an application to capture audio output.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

4 ★ Works good... But it will not save my pictures. I have given the app the needed permissions, and it says saving picture when I click snapshot button, but I cannot find them anywhere on my device.. anyone experience this problem?
2 ★ It doesn't save the pictures and seems to ask for more permissions than would be necessary for this type of application. The last update was 2019. It's the only thing that seems to work at all with my Cainda USB microscope so that's a plus. I'm using Android 11 on a Galaxy S20+
2 ★ Good simple app when it works but I have to uninstall and reinstall it almost every time I use it or it crashes and freezes or just doesn't start.
4 ★ Worked OK on a Galaxy Tab A7 with the endoscope I just bought. I wanted a program which would rotate the image. This does that, but only by 90 degrees. And I don't see a zoom feature. It has a lot of image controls.
5 ★ I had a version that looked like the UI shown on cnet on my Galaxy s3. Now I'm on an s6 (yeah I'm old and behind) and I miss the simple UI. How would I enable or obtain that version? Follow up The functionality is all there, just more options to wade through. GREAT simple app. Updated to 5 stars. The one function I miss and cannot seem to find is the (simple and obvious) ability to turn off the camera within the app.
1 ★ Absolute piece of garbage. My phone (New google pixel 5) restarts every time i plug my microscope and run this app. Its rubbish, used to work 6 months ago, now its just a waste of hard drive space. I recommend u look for something elae
5 ★ I finally got a phone that could run the app and is otg compatible! It works great, and was pleasantly surprised at how clean my ears are. Great app! Super easy to set everything up.
2 ★ I have Vivo Y19 with funtouch os android 11 it does works on the 2 lower resolution but is blurry on the high resolution it's has no focus at all. Wrong the OTG works fine with anything just not this app.
1 ★ Will not save photos! It shows a pathway, has full permissions, confirms photo is taken, and then it is saved nowhere. This renders the app, and camera completely useless.
5 ★ Excellent, just worked, Pancellent £20 boroscope. Only negatives are down to scope camera quality not the app, autofocus cam would be better, higher rez better, but they're larger and cost more. 180, 90 rotate options and mirror image invaluable. V easy to use. Usb can disconnect if jiggled but def the plug or cable not the app, move it and it recovers. No shady app behaviour spotted, no unwanted ads. Cam perm needed. Files and media perm to write if recording. Audio needed if cam has mic.
5 ★ Works great on pixel 3a with Android 11 - plug in any usb camera and use your phone as a screen. I am very happy with this app and can recommend it.
4 ★ Ad free at the cost of being slightly buggy. Color changed and i couldnt reset it via the menu until i closed the app and removed the camera. Otherwise it works great so far!
5 ★ If you are going to buy Skydroid 5.8 dual receiver use OTG View app instead of the skydroid fpv app. skydroid app Sucks B4lls lol. OTG is Amazing ! <3
5 ★ Very easy hook up no ads and I don't have to tap on the app in order for my camera to work my camera just comes right on it's a 12-ft cord with a camera on the end and it works perfect for it definitely get the app if you have one of those kind of cameras. About a 12 ft long cord that has a camera at the end of it that attaches to my phone and this app works great on that 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 also this is the app you're supposed to get when you get that cord with the camera
