Be pious (that is, beware of the forbidden and doubtful), and you will be the most worshiping of the people. Be God-fearing, and you will be the one who most thanks to Almighty Allah.
Troubles and misfortunes emanate, depending on the language. "

Lukman al-Hakim was an employee of one merchant, and when he learned better the nature and virtues of Lukman, he tried not to be separated from his worker. During their meal together, he laid the best pieces of him, and if Lukman refused any food, he did not touch this food either.
Once this merchant was sent a melon, and he, as always, called Luckmann to treat him. The owner cut the melon into pieces and gave the first piece to Lukman, and he began to eat it with such pleasure and delight, as if this melon was sweeter than honey. The owner with pleasure watched Lukman, who ate a melon, and continued to cut him piece after piece. And only after the fifth piece given to Lukman he decided to try it himself. But as soon as she bit off her very little, unbearable bitterness filled his whole body and tongue. “I’m surprised,” said the owner, “how could you absorb so much bitterness and why did you eat piece by piece without saying it?” “Knowing your friendly attitude towards me,” answered Lukman al-Hakim - and remembering how many tasted sweets in your home, I considered it a duty to take in it and bitterness.
And even though this melon was bitter, the hand that gave it to me was kind. And what can bitterness mean in comparison with kindness ?! Goodness is omnipotent, it can turn copper into gold, it helps to endure grief and compassion, it can turn vinegar into juice and a dungeon into a flower garden, and poison into nectar. And even the Garden of Eden, if there is no kindness in it, will seem like Hell. Evil is only vanity, alien to the true meaning, from which kindness derives. ”

Lukman al-Hakim said: “When you will be in namaz, then keep your heart (in humility). When you eat, keep your throat. When you are in a strange house, keep your eyes (from looking at the unnecessary). When you are among the people, then keep your language. Remember two and forget about two: always remember about Allah and death, and forget about the good done towards others and the evil done to you by others. ”
