1 ★ Original posting February, 22, 2019 Frustrated trying to keep the phone and the hub paired. It takes hours to pair the heaters to the hub and then the app won't connect to the hub. Frustrated. Scanning for devices does not find my controller. Updated posting April 25, 2019 This is the best customer service I have received from any company in my life (NOT)...on February 22, 2019 I made this comment and today on April 25, some two (2) months later they reply by saying...please contact us if you need further assistance and we'll help you get connected. In the past two months I have figured it out...I took back the 2016 technology that was being sold locally and bought the latest version of the product from Costco. now it works and I figured it out all by myself.

1 ★ I have a hard time deciding which is worse: the app, the controller or the heaters. There are so many problems I don't even know where to start. It took me two hours to get the app to sync with our controller. The app itself is barely usable or functional but at least it kind of works, unlike the controller which is unusable. Now it randomly changes settings, costing us money heating an unoccupied space. I have no idea how this company stays in business, they don't even care their products suck.

3 ★ Latest update (04/2019) crashes on Android 8.0 ( oreo ) when you go into the schedule option and try to setup the temp and times.. it works, but as soon as you press BACK, the app crashes when you go back to the APP, it saved the settings before the crash so it seems to be able to work on the part. What I did was download the previous version of the APK before the update and everything works just like before. Installed it manually and not going to update to this 04/2019 version until another version is released.

3 ★ Simple but it works. Everytime I set a schedule it crashes, it takes at least two times to connect to the controller because it fails after you put in your password for the wifi. The programming works as long as you don't say you go to bed at 1am. It has quirks. It's really basic. It would be great if it could work with IFTTT. Also I would really like to see power usage statistics.

3 ★ The app crashes when making changes to a zone schedule. The temperatures are difficult to read due to the colours in the app. The app does work as intended and even though app crashes, the dimplex controller still makes the updates. It took awhile to figure out how best to setup the zones & schedules, patience is needed. Hope a new version is in development; until then this one does the job.

4 ★ First off all of ( take the junk battery out when you want to connect it to Wifi. use the power supply). then put a new battery in and connect your heaters. then remove battery and plug it in the wall again. Very frustrating if you don't do it this way. works well. But new update wont let me change my picture could be my Huawei phone no worries GF will try on her iphone. app needs tweaking!!

1 ★ The app crashes. Unlike other users, I could setup the app and the controller very easily. Some improvements needed: - Battery doesn't do the work, I had to use a power bank. - Link indicator between heater and controller and app would be helpful. - As this app is meant to control simplex heaters thru the controller, it should be able to set up minimum and maximum temperatures to prevent manual override by kids. - It would be PERFECT if we can see both current and set temperature for each zone.

3 ★ They are getting closer. The device does work and however they need to work on the setup battery the coin cell dies after one use, they should keep it aa for when you need to set up wireless. Also the app crashes when you try to change picture. They hide the C/F function in the about section. Why not have more then 4 zones? A bit buggy when changing temperatures as the numbers are hard to see and sometimes jump higher when adjusting.

1 ★ TRASH. I had it working for the last few weeks and now it wont connect. can't reset it, and it keeps saying it had a network timeout. I can deal with the 4 zones. Its a dumb limit but whatever. but the developers should be fired. no error codes so i can tell why it failled..... super pissed, I have I bought 9 baseboard heaters to work with this app. TRASH

1 ★ Can not activate the account... We are about half way through replacing our baseboard heaters with Dimplex's LPC units... even installed one of their expensive commercial ceiling heaters... and then we purchased the WiFi controller... following the inststructions, we downloaded and installed the app on our smart phone, then the confirmation email came thru to activate, when we click on the link, the screen goes to a white screen, with a blue border and just hangs at this point! We used the email contact on their web site... no response.. I ran across the email address in this review area, so the emailed them - again, no response!!! And we actually have to work... so don't have the option to phone them during their very restrictive hours of telephone support... Am hoping this review will help us resolve the issue... as I can not think of any other way to try to get them to help....

2 ★ Not able to connect app with controller. Followed all directions and completed all steps as listed in the manual and online videos, but it seems app has no ability to change controller. Day and time does not auto update, and changing temperature zones on the app have no effect. Also, as already mentioned, app crashes when trying to customize pictures.

1 ★ This is perhaps the worst software I've ever used. I created an account it accepted my password and now it won't let me log in.I called the helpline and they deleted my account and I set up a new account same problem. I was going to buy the Wi-Fi controller but there's no way I'm going to do that now if I can't even get the app to work

1 ★ Trash. Just complete garbage. App will not connect to my controller, despite following the laughable "instructions" in the manual / online help videos. Clearly this app was not well tested, and trying the same actions repeatedly offers different results (sometimes it sees the controller, sometimes not... sometimes it asks for a wifi password, sometimes not). Do yourself a favor and use a real smart home heating system like Nest or Ecobee.

1 ★ 1) the app crashes everytime i set a schedule for a day. so of if i have to setup the schedule for a week with different temps everyday, i have to sign in everytime after setting up schedule for each day. 2) the schedule randomly works. so i have to keep checking the app if the schedule has worked or not. and then manually adjust the temp from app if it has not. this defys the whole idea of automation. this app and associated hardware needs some serious improvements.

2 ★ UPDATE after Nov 5th update, still has many bugs. After being on the market for 3 years, Dimplex really needs to allocate more ressource to software development instead of product development, This really need Amazon Alexa/Google Home/IFTTT support in order to boost sales. *Bug/random fluctuations when setting temperature, ex. set to 17C, you go back out and it shows 17.5C...if you click on it right away, it will shows 27.5C?, same issue with fahrenheit. *No way to revert back to schedule from the app, needs a "Go back" equivalent button. *App crashes when trying to change the zone picture on Android 7+ Nougat/API 24, works only an older Android versions, please fix camera capture and/or let you pick from a defaut set of pictures or one of your own. *Outdoor temperature provider not accurate, temp reported is incorrect. *Toggling to Celsius is hidden under About screen. *App crashes at the last step when trying to register the controller using LineageOS 15.1/Oreo, had to use another phone running L14.1/Nougat (bug from Oct 16th, unverified)
