SearchBar Ex - Search Widget 2.0.0 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ Used to love this app but it's been loading a blank chrome page lately. Please fix and update for latest chrome, latest android, and galaxy s8 and newer phones.

4 ★ I really wish I knew about this app a long time ago! I did my research and tried some other apps, and this is absolutely the best app to search multiple websites and apps quickly. I wish the search bar remembered my previous search inquiry for me to more quickly select another website/app to search instead of selecting the website/app and selecting the search inquiry from the drop down history. This would make searching even faster. I will still recommend this app to anyone, especially students!

4 ★ I don't think the developers still update the app, but the IMDb search only works if the IMDb app is closed and would be great to have support for the Wikipedia app. Great app.

2 ★ The widget idea is great, if it worked. I start typing my query in the drop down, and the app chooses when to hit "search". Just randomly launches the search results in the middle of a word I'm typing. Have to reselect text in my browser at that point, making this app useless. Very broken and frustrating.

4 ★ Great app, could use better instructions and an update. To create custom search bars, go to the desired search page and search [something]. Copy the url and paste it into the url for the app's custom search bar, but replace [something] with [%s]. Extremely useful - I use it for Reddit, manga, totally legal music sites, etc. So I've upgraded to premium. Unfortunately, this app doesn't work with the integrated file explorer on my S10, or any other file explorer I've tried. Devs pls come back orz

3 ★ This is a nice app but I find it infuriating complicated to operate and set up. It is far from intuitive. If you persevere you will get it to do what you want but it is likely to invoke swearing and infuriation in the process. The developer needs to rethink it entirely.

4 ★ *PLS FIX CONTACTS- DOESN'T SEARCH, ONLY OPENS CONTACTS APP. THANK U! Search engines offered are awesome, pls add more. Design of widget is imho ugly. Pls improve & offer more colors. I color-code evthng on homescreen to find quicker, need this widget to be Mint Green but u only offer 8 odd colors. I'm premium/paid user; it cld be alot better w/design (or at least improve it slightly as I kno ur busy), & need to FIX CONTACTS. Otherwise it's really great, offers so many useful searches, one click!

5 ★ Was confused at first. You need to add the Search instead of the app, I the left column. And the magic happens! Thank you for this simple, yet effective and useful app :-)

3 ★ its a little confusing and im not even sure how to use all the features. i was just looking for a simple replacement to the default google search widget. i now see that my duckduckgo browser came with one.

1 ★ Only supports Google search, contrary to description. No other search providers are listed, and must be added via "custom search" function, and there is no documentation provided on how to do this, uninstalled.

5 ★ So glad I found this! Ever since I enabled Google Assistant the search bar google widget I use changed to assistant and only served to answer questions instead of providing search results which I use more often. I was about to disable google assistant before finding this.

4 ★ It would be great to have an ability to hide divider between search bar and status bar (it seems ugly with black color). And also to be able to hide the search icon and mic icon.

4 ★ Just what i needed! Btw, there is an option under Settings > Suggestion settings to set the number of google search suggestions to 0 so you get a pure app only search! 5 stars if that was more obvious.
