In November 2018, we released a new generation of the Feedly App which is based on a new design. We are leaving this classic version of Feedly behind for people who preferred the old design.

5 ★ Much Better Than the New Version - this loads your pages in batches of 6 or 7 stories. It loads the next 6 in the background. You flip through them like pages of a book. This is smooth... Unlike.... the new version, that features 'seemless scrolling'. This may sound great, but if you are on a slower device, or have more than a few dozen articles in any feed, it stutters like crazy. I have a TAB S4, and a Galaxy S8 - no slouches ! But any more than 50 articles, and it is a real stutterfest !

3 ★ Only thing wrong with the app is its icon. Gray color icon looks dull. Please update it with a more lively color.

5 ★ It's a little more clunky than the official version, but hey! No ads!

3 ★ Back in the day I used the Pulse News app, and I still miss the design to this day. Then LinkedIn bought Pulse and proceeded to release a new (and absolutely neutered and godawful) version of the app, leaving behind tons of long-term users. So I migrated over to Feedly and enjoyed it a lot for a few years, only for the design to be completely overhauled in a way that removed functionality I enjoyed while adding nothing of value. Now I have to download a separate app just to continue with an experience that didn't need to be changed in the first place. I would look for a new news aggragator, but the odds seem to be in favor of it being ruined a couple years after I start using it.

5 ★ Thank you so much for providing this. I rely on feedly every day at my job. You obviously put a lot of effort into the changes to the main Feedly app, but I find the new interface borderline unusable. Thank you for keeping the classic interface available. You might think about letting users know about this app in the main Feedly app - I was lucky enough to stumble upon it in the Play Store when I came here to complain about the changes.

3 ★ Ok, so until they screwed the pooch on the new app, this was the app to beat in the RSS reader market. Unfortunate that the corporate machine tries to fix what isn't broken. However, now even though they claim this is exactly the latest version of the classic app, my screen widgets no longer work. Yay. Nice job on reinventing the wheel.

4 ★ A very welcome app to move to instead of having the "new" Feedly pushed on them! Thanks for keeping the original "stacked" scrolling alive that worked so well for so many users (gone in the "new" version). Pretty embarrassing bug on launch but fixed within a day of the mass switch over of users. Shame users have to switch apps though presumably to increase uptake of the "new" version.

1 ★ Started crashig as well as the new version. Thanks for the advice, but I installed this version because the old one kept crashing. Now i use Pallabre as a medium for feedly contents and it works fine for me.

2 ★ Many times an app update makes things worse. This happened with Feedly, so I was happy they kept the old style. But now the old version opens links in its own special web browser. I don't want to use your browser, feedly! I want to use mine. this is one reason i never read articles from the Facebook app. i have a browser, i like my browser, it has my extensions and bookmarks, and i don't like yours. why do devs do this?

5 ★ I really, really didn't like the new app interface and am very happy you have provided the old version here. I hope the lack of color on the icon does not mean you are planning to phase this out. Did I mention that I really dislike the new interface? (I used it for long enough that I should have been able to get used to it, giving it a fair shot.)

5 ★ Could you please leave this feesly classic app available? The new design is very awkward and marks items as read immediately when highlighted, and requires many more taps for stuff which required just 1 swipe or tap before. Also I really would like for feedly to get cheaper, as it is now it's not something I'm ready to pay for now. I'm sure many people would buy a subscription if you were to offer for example a basic subscription for 2 euros a month, or a "build your package" style sub.

5 ★ I guess you know your new version sucks when you need to keep the old one around just to keep your users happy. The new version needs a less bland looking UI, a setting to open full articles directly, and the list view option. Both versions can use a dark mode with more contrast, e.g. Google News. Anyway, thanks for keeping this version around.

4 ★ Please return the green logo. I know you're trying to make the classic seem deprecated, as a way of encouraging us to adopt the new feedly. Instead you should have left the old feedly as it was and called the new on Feedly Modern or something else. You're really on the verge pf a PR disaster. When you build a brand identity on an aesthetic vision, you have to be very careful not to ruin the visual experience, which you've just done with the new app.

1 ★ Switching to flipboard. With feedly's new app being a horrendous mess and classic not having basic tablet orientations, there's no choice left. As requested, added details to my review of the main Feedly app.

3 ★ I don't want to be one of those people but the new app really screwed around with the UI without actually improving it, which is just really frustrating. And now I've downloaded this classic app, I'm not going back, so I'm not really sure where you're going in trying to move users like me forward to the new app. It all seems like a really confused strategy.
