App permissions

DaVita Care Connect 6.8.8 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows an application to broadcast sticky intents.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

1 ★ For something that is essential for my health I can't seem to get it to work.

2 ★ Have Samsung Galaxy 7s. No way to log off. Have to shut down through phone and there's no way to tell if it's shut down so it could remain connected eating up data. NEED A LOG OFF BUTTON! Also need to put on home screen. No menu on app to do that. Gets lost on playstore. I never use playstore except to load an app. Once this is loaded there needs to be an easy way to access it. I use my home screen to access all the apps I use.

2 ★ Need to be able to send the activation code via email and not assume that the cell phone number on record is able to receive texts. The alternate method of "call us" didn't work because no One was available. Had to call our local davita office for the work around. Another feature to add would be sync up with Google calendar for automatic reminders. I was able to install it on my Samsung tablet. A browser version would be good for those without a cell phone or older phone because of PC bigger

2 ★ This app cuts off during Tele appointments or it freezes up. It froze up on my end and then it froze up on my Dr's end. It also cut off in the middle of me uploading my flow charts. Also there's not an option to load multiple flow charts at one time you have to do them individually. Also I want to be able to enter my vitals prior to the appointment & not have to say them over the screen during the visit. This is a very basic app needs improving

2 ★ Not very user-friendly...The quality of the sound is awful... I can barely hear my care team... Tried connecting wireless headphones & app crashed... When appointments are declined, they are not removed from your calendar... Doesn't have a way to view & sign docs which kind of defeats the usefulness of the app during times of quarantine or social distancing...Will continue to use because it is all I have but hoping it gets better.

2 ★ This app has a ton of great information that really only helps new patients. For a patient that is actively tracking their progresses, there is nothing. A patient has to go through the website to obtain weight gains and losses and lab results.

1 ★ This app is trash. It constantly crashes. I get kicked out whenever I use another app or take a phone call. Oh and it says my password is wrong and when i try to request a new one, I get a stupid text saying Hi welcome to Davita Care Connect! No verification code. This app is pointless.

1 ★ Why can I only get this on a smart phone. Some older adults do not have a smart phone. The tiny screen is problematic, some patients also have problems with their sight. Holding even something as small as a cell phone can become difficult with any length of time.

1 ★ Very poorly designed and of limited use. Too often it does not function correctly and the only instruction is to call the "help" desk for support.

2 ★ Never have been able to access lab results.

1 ★ The app does not work for the care team to join a call on their tablet. On my Moto G7, I can join the call, but RN's can't connect. They need to redesign this app.

5 ★ We should be able to text from this app separately so that apps from the nurse, Dr etc; could be taken morrseriously. I could even give the ringtone from this app a different sound so that I know it's not from just anyone
