You can use Dashlane Authenticator for any website, account, or service that offers 2-factor authentication (2FA) or 2-step verification (2SV) with a QR code or manual key entry.

1 ★ Can't turn 2fa off, can't log in, can't do anything after resetting my mobile. It's still all ok on my laptop but I dont carry that everywhere. Can't get customer support apart from FAQ reply. Should not be this way..Unimpressed, gonna cancel my subscription when my rage settles down. Useless
4 ★ Well done on integrating OTP with password manager. However, authenticator loses points for lacking interface features such as: 1. Cannot rename or relabel any of the entries. 2. The list entries take up far too much screen. It's nice to see prominent entries in the list, but a compact view should be an option. Why are the above important? If you have many OTPs (I have around 40), it's difficult to locate the one you need.

2 ★ Works but if you scroll down too quickly it crashes.
1 ★ Lost 3rd party 2FAs. Thanks. Okay. About 39 mins later they reappeared, somewhat intermittently, but a most disconcerting experience. I'll be migrating off this app for anything other than Dashlane 2FA.
3 ★ Feature-wise it's okay. The entry list could use some improvement regarding it's size and padding. Thing is, this app should not exist and instead be merged with the actual password manager. 2FA within the password manager is for convenience. If you want to have an extra app for 2FA, you should rather install something else like Authy/Aegis. That way your tokens would be more secure and consequently survive if your Dashlane account gets breached.
5 ★ Easier than the normal 2-step authentication.
3 ★ Okay, its buggy! I have two separate and distinct Google accounts. This Dashlane Authenticator drops one, as in removes it. I re-added twice. My wish list is to be able to preview the next token in this authenticator. My Amazon account on the Dashlane Authenticator also has disappeared. I uninstalled this app. *UPDATE* I spoke with Vivian at Dashlane support. She provided many clarifications and also noted my concerns and will pass them on to the developers. So, I raised my rating up to 3 stars.
1 ★ Updated 9-13-23 : trying to move to a new phone and there is no way to even export your 2FA's so your only choice it to setup new. If you have to go through this pain don't bother with this app. Not getting any love from the developers...if you have many 2FAs it's difficult to find your desired code generator as there is no search feature and no grouping allowed in the app. Furthermore the edit function outright doesn't work so you can't rename your 2FAs afte they have been scanned.

4 ★ Excellent app, but needs some extra features to make it super useful: 1) a search function, 2) a way to 'favourite' an item and keep it at the top of the list, 3) long press to edit/delete entries
3 ★ Was good until I updated the app and lost all my tokens :(
5 ★ It's pretty good, I like it, very straightforward. Recovery of details onto a new phone with same number was also good.
4 ★ Great addition, work as expected and integrates with dashlane password manager. But... Where is the search option or field to filter from a lot of list instead of scrolling?
