NOTE: Dash is optimized for the US market, for cars models from 1996 onwards, and some features are not currently available for international users, notably the gas price database. However, most vehicles produced worldwide will appear in either our US or EU region database. (Note: international users should check the OBD requirements in their territory. Full feature set and localization coming soon).

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.
Allows applications to read the sync settings.
Allows applications to write the sync settings.
Allows applications to read the sync stats.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

4 ★ UI had been very good, still is. However, functionality has always been "good enough". That being said, the new update has major Bluetooth issues. The request for logs, from users making reviews, indicate that insufficient UAT and Integration Testing was completed prior to roll-out. I'll try again in a few weeks. Update 4/23: Most recent updates have resolved issues I was experience. Thanks!
2 ★ Missing features - what happened to the graphs with the driving score trends, etc and the fault code checking feature? i don't see the point of the app without them. i was in the beta program and left because i wanted the old version back, but that didn't help, and now i can't get back in the beta. :(
5 ★ After a major update caused lots of problems I contacted Dash support and was absolutely amazed with their attention to my request. They supported me better than most companies do with a paid support contract. Bottom line is that their support really set them over the top and is why I am giving them 5 stars.
1 ★ Since the last major update, I lost the ability to see my previous statistics distance/efficiency on a monthly/weekly/daily basis. Patiently waiting for these to come back, but my patience isn't unlimited... I've also been having connection issues with my obd2 bt adapter, that had previously worked flawlessly (I've lost a few thousand km of trips because of this)... Great app for about 3 years, now it's just beed disappointing (for the last 2-3 weeks) Update: Now on v4.0.7[711] same thing...

3 ★ Seems a good app, but a number of bugs in the main UI. Could also do with a way to trigger trips automatically, rather than having to start them manually.
5 ★ This app is really nice to keep track of mileage, fault codes, and mpg. The customer service is amazingly responsive and great!

1 ★ Been using this for idk how long. recent update broke this app. None of my historic data migrated apparently, engincodes don't work this is now an Activision-Blizzard level apk. Tried installing an old version of the App, apparently its blocked from logging in. Bravo. Update: don't give me a reply with a homework assignment. I guarantee you in not "confused" about NONE OF MY DATA MIGRATING.
1 ★ I had trouble with my original OBD reader. Switched to a Carista as recommended by support. Was working most of the time after that. And they "upgraded" the app. Now, it doesn't work half the time. The app is always stuck on "Initializing hardware devices..." all day long. Even when I am hundreds of feet away from the car. Just can't understand how they could go from a mostly working app to an "upgraded" app (with less feature) that doesn't work half the time in the hope of monetizing it.
2 ★ Good looking app but it won't sync with my OBDLink LX. I downloaded the official OBDLink to make sure there wasn't an issue with my phone or device but they are working fine. I hope this can be fixed in the future because this app looks like it will do a lot of what I'm looking for.
1 ★ Wow. The update nuked some of the most important features. Have an engine alert? Good luck trying to find out what it is. Nevermind resetting the engine light after addressing the issue. I guess I might have to switch to Torque. :-(
1 ★ dash reckons my 1.4 golf mk v is getting 7000 l/100km fuel economy.. think its confused with a 747..
2 ★ Just sent my logs to you guys because 9 out of 10 times Dash doesn't want to connect to my OBD2 dongle.
