DroneUp 1.53.30 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

1 ★ Terrible app and even worse company. Did 2 missions and didnt get paid on either of them. Also if you use any other mapping platforms they will lock you into their organization prohibiting you from doing other work.
3 ★ Will not let me photograph my pt 107 license on my Samsung s7. Will not focus the camera (focuses fine in normal camera app) and no way to just upload a normal photo from gallery...
3 ★ Will be a great app if they can acquire clients. Zero missions I'm the dfw area. Top ten most densely populated areas in usa and no jobs available. The app is simple to use and would work great I feel when they get work.

3 ★ Google Play said the app was installed. It wasn’t showing on my RCA Viking Pro. The Viking meets the requirements. I posted a negative review. Support contacted me and at first wasn’t very helpful. Another tech followed up and provided better suggestions. Unfortunately those did not work. I figured out GP was installing the app on another tablet (NeuTab) that I have. Since the app won’t install on my Viking, I’m using my NeuTab to evaluate. The app has some nice features, including training. I’m unable to get the map to focus on my location. I have the location settings in the tablet on. The drone community can benefit from use of the app and help to educate the public about UAV/UAS operation. I was told in Feb/2018 DroneUp will require Android v6. This is disappointing. There are a large number of tablets being produced today with v5. I need to evaluate a little more to decide if I’m going to purchase a new tablet with v6 or higher. With a limited user base (drone pilots, those that have tablets that’ll run the app, and those that will actually participate is very small) I wonder if the app will stick around? I appreciate DARTVentures quick response and the 2nd techs help.
2 ★ It says it will not work without an update... hit update... takes me to play... and no updates...
2 ★ Can't register or sign up at all. It only offers to sign in using Facebook, Google or Twitter?!? I don't want that. I want to create a normal account and not use any of those services to login!!! Why can't I register??? Update: now I can't even edit my profile at all and error messages. About to uninstall......

5 ★ Using Android version on Android Samsung Tab E. As Chris stated cannot register the app. Tried to copy address to Chrome and still failed.
