Download the latest GPS Speedometer Free application, version 1.17, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Maps & Navigation app is developed by Dan Cadar and is easy to download and install.

Description
#### Now with HUD (head-up display) mode* - just press "Menu" - "Enable HUD mode" and put your phone face up on the dashboard, under the windshield; the screen will be mirrored and it will be reflected by the windshield.
*HUD mode needs more CPU power than normal mode.
This is a free version, supported by ads.
Features:
- HUD mode
- High accuracy. The speed value calculated from GPS data is more accurate than the one displayed by your car's speedometer
- It supports both imperial and metric units
- 5 predefined color themes available
- It can record your path, speed, distance, and elevation and save them in a KML file (for Google Earth) - just press "Menu", select "Settings" and "Record track".
- It can work in the background, so it can record your movement and speed even while you're talking on the phone. This means that if you really want to exit the application, you have to press "Menu" and select "Exit".
It requires the following permissions:
- WAKE_LOCK in order to prevent the screen from turning off
- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION (GPS based location) for reading GPS data
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE in order to save the KML file
- INTERNET in order to retrieve ads from ad servers.
Please note that while I've tested the application on several Android devices, there are way to many different Android devices to guarantee that it will work just fine on all of them, so if you encounter a problem with the application, just drop me an email with your phone model and a short description of your problem; I will do my best to fix it ASAP.
Also, please note that this application comes with NO SUPPORT whatsoever. I'm just one guy who develops apps as a hobby, in my little free time that I have. If you have a problem, I will do my best to fix it, but I can't guarantee that it will be as fast as you might like it. Likewise, I will also do my best to reply to emails, but the truth is that sometimes I'm overwhelmed.

3 ★ My Samsung S6 works ok when at a fixed speed, tends to be 1-3km p/hour slower than vehicles actual speed. Usually sits spot on 2kph slower. But when accelerating or decelerating it takes about 5 seconds to show accurate speed and only once you are coasting at a fixed speed.Easy to read display is good. Overall i would say it is ok, but not accurate enough.
3 ★ App cannot be changed to Km/h to MPH. Also truncated when you cross 100 km/h and shows speed as 10. Also we cannot change display parameters from Speed to any other parameters on the bottom
