5 ★ Had it for years. It's not perfect but it does the job. I'm happy with it. I use it every day - sometimes multiple times a day. I wish it saved previous shows, but I'm just glad we have something like this available. Not really super buggy and the audio is pretty good quality. There's about a 3 minute lag between actual airtime and what this receives; just FYI.
4 ★ 4-star rating mostly due to how far this app has come along. Realistically, a 3.5-star rating is deserved. #1 — PLEASE add the ability to cast the audio (via AirPlay/Google ChromeCast) other than Bluetooth. The 1-hr playback is so amazing, BUT (due to Bluetooth) often when scrolling through an app (e.g., Instagram/Facebook) and a video is played, this will refresh the TheTicket playback & jump straight ahead to the live audio. Very frustrating to have to go back and very meticulously find where the playback was cut off. #2 — Recently the app has been having some functional issues where the Android OS will pop up an error message saying that "SportsDay is not responding"
1 ★ App doesn't work. Period. It shuts down if you try to read an article (or anything else), and if you press a notification to open the app, it opens their website in Chrome instead, then tries to force you to subscribe to them. PS I have a brand-new phone which works just fine, so it ain't me.
3 ★ Most recent update has a bug. On Android device, live streaming pauses as soon as screen goes dark (inactive). Touching screen causes streaming to resume. Doesn't require you to enter the passcode or take any other action; you just have to activate the screen and the streaming resumes.
5 ★ Love streaming the Ticket, but I wish it had native casting in so I could stream to my Google Home without casting my whole device
1 ★ Fix this s#$@ Rich! Completely unable to stream the Ticket without buffering every minute or so. I thought it might be my connection but, when I stream on another app, it works flawlessly. I use this app because I like the rewind function, but it just doesn't work anymore.
1 ★ The November 14th update to this app completely breaks it. The app loads, then as soon as you try to play any audio it immediately crashes. Tried clearing cache, tried deleting storage, try it uninstalling and reinstalling, to no avail. I had to uninstall. Worthless in its current state.
4 ★ The most reliable way to listen to the ticket. Static free streaming on any device with internet access. The sports tie to the local teams are nice, but you came to hear the guys talk sports and that's exactly what you get.
5 ★ Was my favorite App. Recently started crashing when I tried to read an article so I just used the streaming. Now the App will not even open. Running on an android system.
2 ★ Just pushed 3.6.7 update and now it crashes instantly. Was my go-to app, very fast and stable prior, on my Pixel 3... now won't run. Bad update. Now listening on iHeart... but not happy about it.
5 ★ Game changer if you listen to the ticket. Very stable and smooth streaming. Can rewind up to 60 minutes.
1 ★ Favorite everyday app, but has been closing by itself in about 10 seconds lately. Tried clearing cache as that sometimes works with apps. Didn't work. Love the app but totally useless right now
1 ★ Why do your streaming ads loop 5+ times of the same ad, back to back all the time?? It's unbearable. Not sure where else to complain about this.
3 ★ Really like the app, but content of the Tickets Podcasts - Favorite Segments section needs improvement. Hardly any funny bits included anymore.
1 ★ Worked great on my 3 year old phone. Update to new phone with Android 9 pie,and app dies each time I open it...Please update!!
