Description
With the help of the app, you can call up or download the online version of the Owner's Manual for your vehicle so that you can access it at any time even without an internet connection.
Depending on the vehicle model, information relevant to operation, images and animations relating to the vehicle's equipment are included.
You can use the search function to find the content you are looking for. Bookmarks allow you to mark important content so that you can quickly refer to it at any time. The most important functions for your vehicle are listed clearly via the quick start. In the tips you will find helpful information, e.g. help in the event of a breakdown. The Animations section provides you with informative and helpful videos on all the important vehicle functions.
The online Owner's Manual is the current version. Possible variations to your vehicle may not be taken into account as Mercedes-Benz constantly updates their vehicles and equipment to the state of the art and introduces changes in design and equipment. A guide describes all standard and optional equipment of the vehicle. Note, therefore, that your vehicle may not be fitted with all features described. This is also the case for systems and functions relevant to safety. Country-specific deviations are possible among the various languages.
Under no circumstances does this version of the Owner's Manual replace the printed Owner's Manual which was included when the vehicle was delivered.
Please contact your authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer if you would like to obtain a printed Owner's Manual for particular vehicle models and vehicle model years."

1 ★ Won't let me choose a guide at all! Error message: Guides only online available. I had wifi connection and data at home. Error message shows up. Deleted, re-installed - not working 😕
3 ★ Can use for V177 and W177. But not all the instructions are available.
5 ★ As a Mercedes Benz lover, not an owner (but maybe in the future ;D), I can tell that this app is excellent as I like to read some kinds of website car info or manuals online. "The best or nothing" is a good way of describing this app. I love all MBs (yes, even the MB100 van), so this app suits me. ♥️ Respect from England! Oh, and by the way, add some older models too (W220, W203, R129, R170 & others)
1 ★ Only audio and command guide available. For anything else it takes you to the website.
2 ★ When it works, it is ok. Currently it claimes I am offline, while I am not. Does not do a thing. Also annoying that they called the app "Guides", rather than Mercedes or something with Mercedes in the name.
1 ★ Totally useless. The app itself does contain any guide. You have to look up your model, and download the guides separately. But I was not able to download any of the guides. The app complained that there is no internet access. This is absolutely not true: I am typing and posting this very review over the network. I guess this app does fulfill their moto "the best or nothing." Only that I didn't expect it to be the latter part.
1 ★ Finding things can be really difficult - especially if you can't guess what obscure term the item is indexed under. There is no way to determine which parts of the manual are applicable to my vehicle and some parts of the manual are just wrong. Plus it has an annoying tendency say "see the Digital Owners Manual" without any link. Incomplete, inaccurate and really hard to use. The worst car manual I've encountered is a good match for the worst car I've ever owned.
4 ★ Update: Dev responded next day, if you get the continuous loading with no info, fully uninstall the app & reinstall to fix this issue. You may lose saved settings. (Previous issue): New version won't load info. Opened today to a message that the app ownership has changed. Now it won't load any information at all. Constant spinning load wheel. This needs fixing ASAP. Emailed the dev: will update review when I get a response or the app is fixed.
2 ★ Looks good, but cannot be opened offline. Even after selecting download, the car guide would not work or even disappear! The search function is useless, tried to input the exact warning message from the display, or the key words on it, but nothing relevant would show up. And that's only after 1 day from app download..
3 ★ Issue after last update I resolved by uninstalling and re-installing. I don't understand why your manuals have to be so general... I am getting all the various features in the manual, even if I don't have them on my car. In a technological world, I would expect the manual to be tightly representative of my specific car. Thank you
2 ★ Not really a state of the art app. Too clunky and not intuitive to use. I don't even know where exactly to start looking. And whatever i click and start reading, i find myself looking into the printout manual rather than this app.
1 ★ Very bad developed and tested..before release pls test fully and pay attention to the app's performance also memory leaks which causes crashes
1 ★ Useless search and boring presentation. Serious improvements are required to make the user interface more fancy and above all: to get a usable search function...
2 ★ Whilst each individual car is an almost unique combination of standard components, it presents me with a puzzle. How to get to my car's specifics. How difficult would it be to build a user guide for my specific car? Then all these texts and no or little pictures. I imagine entering my car's chassis nr and having its specific guide ready for me. If you can build a car from a configurator tool, so can you with a user guide. Terms and conditions all focus on limitation of MB liability. My rights in a couple sentences? "User friendliness" again means I have to stay friendly. Superficial design and a check in the box for the engineers. ** as it could be worse.
1 ★ According to this guide Mercedes doesn't do an A-Class hatchback. Also you need to what stereo is fitted before you can download an A-Class guide. I hope the cars are better engineered than the app!
