DailyRoads Voyager 8.1.1 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an app to access precise location.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

5 ★ I previously gave this app 3 stars and the person responding to my comments a sarcastic time and it was uncalled for. I've had enough time with the app to say it really does work, one feature is saving to SD card, and there are many user adjustable settings, if it continues to perform as well as it has I will come back and recommend donating to turn off ads. It is a good looking, user friendly app.

2 ★ Installed on Note 9. When running in foreground with Android Auto in the background, an issue occurs where the phone will sound a soft ding dong alert, often followed by the phone display blacking out and a dropped USB connection to the car interrupting the Android Auto navigation. Usually, both apps restore function, but too often the dash cam app will stay blacked out, stop recording, or hang.

4 ★ Don't let the ratings fool you. I've used this app for a year or so. Recently things started to get buggy. Biggest headache was it was blurry. In desperation I uninstalled and tried another app. After a few days I decided to reinstall DailyRoads Voyager. Glad I did. Just re installed on my Pixel 4XL and the clearity is amazing. Also the audio in playback is of excellent sound quality. I'm really surprised this app isn't rated at 4.8.

2 ★ This used to work great for many years. I used this app as a dashcam literally every day and it actually saved me from being found "at fault" for a car accident since I had the whole thing on video. Unfortunately, ever since upgrading to Android 14, the app shuts down after a couple minutes of recording. I really hope they fix this issue, but until then I'll have to find a different dashcam app.

4 ★ Love the app, been using it for several years. Unfortunately, the GPS speed data does not work properly when connected to Android Auto. It still records and saves the footage fine, but the speed data is off. When not connected and using the phone by itself, it works fine.

4 ★ I really like the app and idea to use the cell phone to capture what's going on when driving (evidence in case of an accident, stupid cops e.g.) To get a fife star rating it would be nice to use maybe the standard camera app with auto WB, exposure, ISO e.g. It's just to difficult to adjust when driving. The other bonus function would be the use of front and rear cell phone camera simultaneously even while sacrificing the resolution. To have a rock solid evidence this would be great.

1 ★ Space hog, not intuitive on how to store files. Bought full version. Set at 3 GB. Shows 9 GB used. Can't figure out how to delete files with app, and how to change to SD card for storage. Now, other apps are getting errors due to this app being a memory hog and no free space. Aside from that, would've liked it. Sad. Would need to be developer to understand functionality without reading some manual.

5 ★ This is probably one of the best free apps I have ever used! I am a full time RVr and used this app on a recent trip crossing the USA on a trial basis. It worked flawlessly and has a ton of great features. I will upgrade to the paid version for more great options! Highly recommended!! BTW this is my 1st app review, I was that impressed!

5 ★ After One UI update to ver.6 on S22, when DRV working in backround, appears Error: the camera couldt be initialised. And then DRV appears on top of Navigator app Waze. Ver. 8.1 work in backround properly. Thank you. 5 stars :)

5 ★ Before trying this one, I tried various other dashcam apps on my present as well as old phones. I was disappointed with them - some resulted in overheating, some didn't have features, some just crashed. I was about to give up when I tried DailyRoads Voyager. I can say without hesitation that this is the best dashcam app I have tested. Works beautifully even in not so capable phones. Never crashed even once. Has extensive settings to configure your app as per your needs. Just go for it.

4 ★ i really liked this app inially, then it started crashing and taking the whole phone down with it. I've tried reinstalling it but the result is the same. The crashes are so bad that phone settings get corrupted. such a shame as this app is great. Sadly, I've had to uninstall it. I've given it 4 stars because this but it may be fine on your phone so definitively give it a go. Update: After hearing from the developer with regards to the corruption to my phone, I'm assured that it is not possible for their app to be the cause. Whatever the case I still can't use the app but would urge anyone to try it, as it is feature packed and an otherwise great app. Some phones for some unknown reasons just don't do what's expected...I may have one of those phones :-)

3 ★ I use this every day and have done for at least a year but I am about to switch to something new. Too often the action I try to capture happens BETWEEN VIDEOS. why is it that even with settings set to minimize video gaps, I still never manage to capture what I want? Maybe I will return if you allow for continuous recording or make the gaps between videos a lot, lot less. very frustrating as everything else about this app is great. But what is the point in any of it if you can't catch the action

2 ★ Brilliant app, one big problem for me, after I load the app for the first time and allow it to access to the relevant areas I used it and it was brilliant. Next day I came to use it again and when I click the app icon the app just loads into the temp files screen where the videos are stored ??? There's not a button to go to the main video screen , so I am stuck on this page. I tried closing the app, resetting cache on app and nothing worked until I deleted app data. This resets the app tho.

3 ★ Been using the app for years and was happy with it until I started using a phone with decent night vision. Opening the app at night shows a view that I expect from my camera, but starting video recording causes the image to become mostly black (only pinpoints of light visible)! Have tried different app settings with no obvious effect! Also, if using a memory card, make sure the card is inserted and working before starting the app otherwise it forgets your stored videos! I lost access to 6GB!

5 ★ This app is great.. can run in the background and when playing back videos will show location on Google maps.. only one issue.. its keeps playing a sound over Bluetooth when it starts a new video.. which is every 2 minutes.. tried everything but can't turn it off.. I'd pay for full version of it fixed this..edit.. found a workaround where i can direct sound from certain apps to certain outputs
