WiTscale Bluetooth Scale 2.8 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows an application to read SMS messages.

Allows an application to read the user's calendar data.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write the user's calendar data.

Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.

Allows an application to read the user's call log.

Allows an application to write (but not read] the user's call log data.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to broadcast sticky intents.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

1 ★ A buggy, terrible, lazy port from ios. Crashes when trying to enter data, and doesn't clarify units. Wish I had a choice to use a different app

1 ★ Doesn't say what measurement height is in. Gives different bmi readout than iOS version. Overall terrible port that needs a lot of work

1 ★ Scales are good, but app needs a lot of work. Can't add pictures, interface is about 10 years behind the times, location keeps popping up. Improve it please

1 ★ Really, BMI of 381? I put my height in inches which is 68" and I weigh 181. This is garbage. Hard to believe I paid money for a scale to use on my phone and get this crap. Fix this.

3 ★ The app is OK but can't believe it can't convert stones and pounds into pounds, how can such simple maths not work or doesn't the programmer understand how they work.

3 ★ The app works well with my Note 4 with Android 5.0.1. color scheme is a bit of an issue. white font on a light gray background is really hard to see , especially for ppl with had eyes like myself. The same goes for the height light purple on dark purple. I can barely see what's entered. Entering height I can't seem to enter in feet and inches. You can't deter I'm 5'7". You have to enter 5.7 and I'm not sure hire accurate it is. You can't enter a 3rd digit. So, if your 5'11" it shows only 5.1 after a save

3 ★ Just got my scale the app works good except it won't keep my weight in LBS. It seems to be always converting to KG. So it say 50 LB and calulates BMI etc off that and gets messed up. So I have to leave it in KG which is not what I want.

1 ★ It paired to the scale just fine but I could not create a profile to record the results. It says incorrect birth date, but there was no place to enter the info. Also could not add a photo to profile.

1 ★ Why does this app require access to my contacts/sms and camera?
