Download the latest Profile Widget application, version 5.3.1, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by Gonzalo Rodríguez Píriz and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 5.3.1, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
These profiles can handle:
* Volume (ring, notification, alarm, system and multimedia) .
* Vibration.
* Default phone ringtone.
* Default notification ringtone.
* Wi-Fi status.
* Mobile data status (Android 2.x, 3.x, 4.x).
* Bluetooth status.
* Screen timeout.
* Screen brightness.
* Automatic data sync.
* Airplane Mode (Android 2.x, 3.x, 4.0.x).
The profiles can be activated both from the app itself and from the home screen widget provided. To add the widget, you just have to long press on an empty space on the desired home screen and select Widgets -> Profile Widget.
The home screen widget can be customized for each profile with 25 colors (6 in Lite version) and 49 icons (5 in Lite version).
Also, if you don't want to use the widget, there's the option to add shortcuts to activate the profiles to the homescreen.
From version 4.0 on, Profile Widget integrates with Tasker and Locale.
With this app you can easily switch your phone from, say, a vibration+no sound mode to a full volume mode to a completely silent mode with just a single click!.
About the permissions: the app now asks permission to read the phone state, just in order to change the volume of the calls when the phone is ringing (the only way of separating notification and ringer volume in Android 4.0+). It cannot do anything else with this information, since it does NOT have Internet access, call or SMS permissions.

4 ★ Has a minor issue on Marshmallow, other than that, very useful widget. Only using this you can change many settings only with two taps. And now with Tasker you don't have to press anything and you can see your profile right on your homescreen. No more Android power control widget wasting my screen space.
1 ★ Update: got a new phone May 2016 and now none of the functions work. Connections won't toggle, notification and ringtones are all the same, and volume doesn't change. Hopefully this will fix soon. I may have to download something else. Original: Would never use another after this one, although the data toggle no longer functions after the last Android update. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, though I still love the app!
4 ★ Good application. Ability to add a shortcut for each profile is especially nice. One problem for my Xperia Z3 though : The app is unable to control Mobile Data status. It can't turn it on or off.
5 ★ I have tried more than 10 profile apps and finally found one that suits my needs. I just wanted to change the sounds not all the settings in my phone. Profiles just like the ones of old BB days :). This one is Simple easy to use and to configure the sounds. The Lite is great but upgrade so much better for measly $.99! The widget is awesome you can have different icons for the different profiles and change the colors too. Thanks for not making me want to throw my phone across the room!
4 ★ Works fairly well on my Motorola RAZR M with the one exception, I've noticed that when I disconnect from a bluetooth device, the Notifications sound gets bumped all the way up. Running 4.1.2
3 ★ Hasn't been updated in almost two years. Unacceptable for this paid app. Not compatible with android M, but figured out a workaround to get what I need it to do.
3 ★ now crashes on use with Marshmallow. Guess the developer gave up on the app. Too bad, it was really good.
3 ★ The Data Toggle does not work on Lollipop. It used to work on KitKat though! Please fix and update!
4 ★ it needs a way to control GPS also. Either location off, location by cell, or location by GPS. Otherwise it works quite well.
5 ★ Works exactly as advertised, and the Widgets are pleasing to the eye. The new timed feature is great! This app would be perfect if you could schedule profiles. Still, it deserves 5 stars now.
3 ★ It worked fine on my old phone but it cannot control mobile data on my Xperia Z2.

2 ★ Time activation not working. Have set up morning, work, home and night all to start after each other but profile never Changes. Please fix!
5 ★ One of the best sound profile widgets i have found on here. Very simple and easy to use. Would be nice to be able to set "time periods" for a profile rather than just "timers".
