1 ★ The app isn't working at all. It keep saying "You have encountered an error" no matter if it's on iPhone, android or smart tv. Even my "on demand" service barely have everything. What's wrong with The CW network? It use to be decent giving the fact it was free, but for the last two months it's not working anymore.
1 ★ The CW app is designed to show ads; any attempt to show a CW program may or may not start, may skip and freeze a bit, but within a minute crashes, with or without freezing first. Then you may get an option to go back; but only to see another add, followed by another crash. An Internet search shows this to be normal behavior. The CW Seed App offers other programs than the one I was looking for so I didn't try it; but a search of the internet suggests it works no better than The CW app.
1 ★ The app doesn't remember your place if you pause and try to resume later. This WOULD not be a huge deal, except that the app forces you to watch ads before you can seek, and every time you jump to a new segment even if you are just looking for your place. If I'm not sure where I left off I can easily end up watching 3+ sets of ads that I already sat through.
5 ★ This is a great app and it has many amazing shows! But I do have a suggestion. It would be really great if you folks could implant an account system so that when I'm traveling or on break, I could finish where I left off from my tv, to my phone, laptop, computer, etc. It's sort of frustrating trying to find exactly where I was, and finding the right episodes.
3 ★ I love this app, it has great shows & its free. ★But… My issue is about the shows that are airing new seasons: I personally think it's unfair not to have access to all the new episodes. Why are the first episodes unavailable??? Now I have to skip the 1st episode & watch the 2nd, which really sucks! ★Also it would be nice to have every episode to every show you offer. Instead some t.v shows only have 1 or 2 seasons, while others have all their seasons available. Can you please fix this? Thanks!
1 ★ This app needs to be completely fixed. I first tried watching on my Roku but the buffering was ridiculous so I then tried the app on my phone. The amount of ads is RIDICULOUS. I counted and got 16 in a row at one point, many of them repeats of ads I'd JUST seem. Thankful I'm caught up on the show I wanted to watch so I don't have to keep trying to make it through using this app.
4 ★ The app works now after a period of several months where it would stop continuously and say there is an error and to go back when commercials would start. Also, moving past this point using the bar showing the video's progress caused the app to close for some reason. An update seems to have been the cause but it works now except for occasionally saying there is an error if you move on the progress bar. You can continue the video from where it left off, though.
4 ★ I like the app, but you can only see the past 5 episodes, which is okay if you are willing to wait a week for a new episode. But the audio on my laptop is super quiet, and my laptop has the best speakers, my laptop is always louder than my phone and my Kindle, so I'm not sure what is up with that. The ads aren't a huge deal for me, just the same ad playing over and over again for every break for an hour is very annoying.
1 ★ While there are many very good programs to watch , there are two things wrong with this app. The app shuts itself down frequently causing you to waste time restarting and the amount of commercials is absolutely ridiculous. You can't skip them or get around them in anyway. Also they get stuck so you end up seeing the same commercials or set of commercials as many as 3 times in a row. I'm deleting this app as soon as I'm finished here.
2 ★ I'm disappointed. The audio sync was poor. Also, I watched several episodes of a show during the day on my t.v.; then I had to switch to my phone. I was watching on the free cw app, so there was no login; I couldn't pick up where I left off and I had to rewatch the entire episode AND commercials...again. I also noticed that there seemed to be more commercials in a row as it was later in the day. I know I'm on the free app but, overall, the amount of commercials was tedious, to say the least.
2 ★ I have this app on my Amazon FireStick. It has a problem at the very end saying opps. It doesn't roll-over to the next episode. You have to hit the yellow button that will take you back to season series and scroll down to where you left off. This app needs work. Please bring it up to basic standards that most apps have. Hulu, Netflix and Amazon prime all have this feature down. My elderly mom complained about it buffering too much being choppy. Please update and I will edit my review. Thank you!
1 ★ It claims they have tons of shows you can watch free...but they only have a VERY limited amount of shows??? Ive been looking for somewhere to watch all season episodes of the 100 which claims to be on this app....but its not obviously! Waste of time!! Not to mention that after I downloaded it opened one time...then every time after that it kept saying error and would close...DONT waste your free time!
2 ★ Need to fix your bugs. The streaming is really bad certain programs it freezes up on..Love the app. When it works. And not freezing up or buffing all the time. And please do something with your commercials I'm tired of seeing the same ones constantly up the game on commercials change them now and then it gets annoying seeing the same one every time.
2 ★ The app sucks! It buffers ALL THE TIME! I love the shows on the CW but watching via the app is so frustrating! I don't have or want cable. I use firestick or Roku. I just want to see my shows without it buffering every 30 seconds! This is the ONLY app I use that does this. Most of the time I just give up and watch something else.
1 ★ App doesn't register that I was in the middle of an episode and when I go back to search it its gone (no more episode 1) It only shows the extras from the season and show that they are 1 minute. It also only gives me the option to watch episode 3. Not only that but it only shows options for episodes 3,6,7,8 and 9 what's up with that?
