Description
Chat with Alexa lets you talk to Alexa through text messaging. Just type your request and Alexa will give you a text response back. Use this app when:
• You need to be quiet to avoid disturbing others.
• You need privacy.
• Your Echo can't hear you due to background noise or being too far away.
• You have a speech or hearing impairment and can't communicate with Alexa normally.
Quick Commands
Add your most frequently Alexa commands to the Quick Commands list, so you can send them to Alexa with no talking or typing. Add the commands to your home screen and send them with a single tap.
Supports Numerous Alexa Features
Use the app as a productivity tool to manage your calendar, to-do, and shopping lists. Full support is also included for Alexa reminders, timers, and alarms. You can control smart home devices such as thermostats, doors, and lights. You can also use the app to get news, weather, sports, and traffic updates, as well as enjoy games and third party skills.
Access Detailed Information and Audio Content
If Alexa sends you detailed information, such as an extended weather forecast, you have full access to this. You can also play audio content, such as a Kindle books, radio stations, and news reports.

1 ★ Suggestion for Paid users : Required Quick Commands shortcuts or Widgets on Homescreen, so that we can give commands to Alexa directly by just tapping on the icon on Homescreen, this eliminates the process of opening the app each time and type over and over the same. The shortcuts or widgets should work on the background, meaning it shouldn't open the app interface while activating the quick commands...
3 ★ Nothing but problems with my alexza app freezing and I've tried everything to have alexza learn skills and routines but to no avail. I was able to change the tone of voice to a deeper male type. Much less irritating. It reminded me of my ex wife's voice!!!♡♡♡♡♡
5 ★ Great App Love using it, but when setting it up Amazon doesn't trust it, approve it anyway it's just fine.
