Download the latest 2G-3G OnOff application, version 2.2.1, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by CurveFish and is easy to download and install.

Description
It's shortcut(blame google for that) for network system settings which allows you change 2G-3G and data roaming mode with 2 clicks instead of 4
How to add widget:
If you on HC, ICS or Jelly Bean:
Open All Apps -> Select Widgets tab -> Find widget in the list
For older versions:
Long click on empty space on your home screen -> Widgets -> Select widget from the list.
If widget doesn't appear on the widget list:
it is a bug in launcher, try to restart it:
Settings -> Apps -> Running tab -> Click on Show Cached Processes -> Select Launcher From the list and click Stop.
Try to re add widget

1 ★ I used this widget every day, but after my Sony Xperia T updated to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 it stopped working. Is there any known reason for this?
5 ★ After lollipop update 2g 3g switching it's the only thing missing. This app for perfectly.. //Old//This app basically creates a shortcut to the mobile data settings. It is useful. After installing power toggles app which does this and lots more, I'm uninstalling this app
3 ★ HTC One X with Android 4.2.2. The only benefit from this app for me is I can switch 2G/3G with 3 clicks (yes, 3, not 2) instead of 4. I'll give 5 stars if this is fixed.
3 ★ I wanted to give 5 start, but not now bcoz its not working for my sim-2 in dual sim phone. while its working fine for sim-1. please make this short cut automatically open network connection setting for selected sim. Will come back to rate 5.
5 ★ Now no menus to go thru to change data on/off or gsm 2g only. At home get better signal 2g only so app makes switch easier by open right menu in 1 click. Switch back when leave home easy. Thanks dev.!
4 ★ Works on Moto X running Android 4.4.4. My reason for dropping one star in my rating? It opens the "mobile network settings" menu, but it should open the "Preferred Network Settings"

5 ★ I'm always on 2G unless 3G for surfing is required and this app is perfect for quick manual switching between the two. Saves a lot of clicks and time.
5 ★ On Jelly Bean 4.2.1 (Nexus 4), this takes changing this setting from 1 swipe and 5 taps, to just 2 taps. Since 3rd party apps can't change this setting directly, it's just a shortcut to the specific settings screen when you can check/uncheck the "Use only 2G networks" setting, which is perfect. Thanks!
1 ★ I'm on ICS and all this does is install an icon which leads to a help summary telling you how to install the widget. The problem is that no such widget can be found whether you follow the provided instructions or check your widgets list. Waste of time.
3 ★ It's a shortcut to the network settings. The AT&T Note 3 doesn't have a 2G toggle in there so this is kinda worthless.
5 ★ This feature is integrated into some aftermarket UI's, but not AOSP. I've used it to save my battery in poor coverage areas since my G1. Thanks CurveFish!
