1 ★ You cant even see messages people send you without paying a membership fee. If you're gonna do that. Have users pay when they sign up for an account. The app is useless otherwise

1 ★ The worst dating app ever! Made a account and it went back to the home screen and it stayed like that for minutes. One of the worst dating apps I ever downloaded. Will be unistalling it immediately! Do better please. One star for bad service

1 ★ Don't the buy subscription and read other reviews. They are not wrong and wish I saved my money. It's pointless and very few people even populate on the app. Japan has a huge amount of population and it's just not worth it when you get maybe 5-10 people only and countless inactive members. Subscription just cost too much for nothing. Save your money.

1 ★ Sorry but this app is absolute trash. It's full of errors, the photos have the worst quality I've seen in my entire life, and the whole experience is just a ridiculous attempts to get you to pay. I mean reading messages is a BASIC activity on a dating app. Also, I created a profile only an hour ago and instantly got terminated for no reason! Customer service seriously wants me to send ID card photos next to my face etc, who do you think you are? It's a dating app, not government property!

1 ★ Scam site. Paid for a sub and still can't text. Contacted customer service and they keep saying soon it will be working. Still not working. Messaging people is hidden behind a paywall as well, so to text, someone has to pay an expensive price. The site is not cheap. And why is it only one person has to pay in order to text? | don't know how many fake accounts are on here yet because the app stole my money and never subscribed me when I paid. The app should be taken down as illegal/fraud. So fake

1 ★ I thought it would be like okupid, but for Japan... Nope. The app interface is terrible, like the first apps back in the day. What's worse, it's all paid, like Japanese dating apps (omiai, etc..). You can't send a single message without paying. It's like someone from outside Japan heard that in Japan all dating apps are 100% paid, and just implemented that on a 20 year old interface. Nobody will use it, neither Japanese nor foreigners.

1 ★ They crippled their own platform. First thing you notice after signing up, the number of emails they spam you with. The next thing, is the messaging system is a marketing trap. sending a message to another user, if you are standard, will cause them to not be able to read the message unless they pay for a membership. Or, if you receive a message from a standard user, you'll have to upgrade to a membership plan. Overall, sending a message just plays into the marketing strategy. Avoid this app.

1 ★ An absolute money grabbing greedy app. You can't send a message even if both of you have liked eachother, and not only that but both parties must have the overly expensive upgrade to premium to be able to view the other person's message. On top of that you'll get a warning or get banned if you put your personal social media details. The app is nothing but a greedy trap, a poorly designed app as well.

1 ★ App is a total scam. I was under the impression that free users could chat if they matched eachother, but that isn't the case. I matched with someone and we still could not chat eachother. They are charging you $30+ to use a feature that is essential to the apps' purpose. Do not waste your time on this one.

3 ★ + The app has a clean UI + It's easy to navigate in the app. + you can manage your subscription within the app. It easy to bith cancel and stop automatically renewal. + Its not to expensive for the offerd fetuers. + The custemer support is friendly & helpful. - Sometimes the App sings you out while writing a message. So you have to copy the text before clicking send. - Sometimes the app apears slow. - The menues need a little more work. ~ Not very active members.

1 ★ There is a reason this App is 3.3 Rating. I bought the platinum version for maximum exposure. Nope, it is a complete waste of time, 90% of the accts are either fake or someone trying to get you to use their website. Dont be fooled, save your money. I 2ish I could get my money back, but I'm sure it won't happen. Owell, lesson learned. Hope this helps. They definitely dont work around the clock, working in those bogus accts. The app is trash, and it is useless. 100%

2 ★ the app is okay but one of the 2 people had to have a paid membership starting at $30. that is just outrageous! the app does however have a verification system and a lot of personal preferences can be shown too but talking without someone paying is not possible because there is no way to connect outside of the app.

2 ★ This app used to be nice but japancupid team has done nothing this past years to limit fake accounts and scammers. I think enforcing profile verification system such as ID/photo verification must be mandatory like in some other dating apps. I saw less of new legit members recently and a lot of duplicate/fake Chinese accounts. I used to be Gold member but I won't renew my membership anymore. 5 ★ I really like it, it's pretty good, easy to navigate and search for matches. The only problem I have is that I wish there was a way to filter out the people I don't want contacting me. I'm planning to relocate to Japan and I'm using this site to make Japanese friends and for language exchange. I've stated this clearly in my profile, but I'm still hounded with messages from creepy men, fake profiles and those wanting a visa. It would be good if there a way for these people to be weeded out.

2 ★ Not bad, not good. The functions working good. Keep the conversation on app. A lot of catfishes, some ghost profile's. Most of half profile's are just for convince you to put money in stocks, cryptocurrency, starting the conversation like a normal people. I think the user's need a option to search and see verified profile's only.
