《三國演義》（全名為《三國誌通俗演義》，又稱《三國誌演義》）是元末明初小說家羅貫中創作的長篇章回體歷史演義小說。該作品成書後有嘉靖壬午本等多個版本傳於世，到了明末清初，毛宗崗對《三國演義》整頓回目、修正文辭、改換詩文。
《三國演義》描寫了從東漢末年到西晉初年之間近百年的歷史風雲，以描寫戰爭為主，訴說了東漢末年的群雄割據混戰和魏、蜀、吳三國之間的政治和軍事鬥爭，最終司馬炎壹統三國，建立晉朝的故事。反映了三國時代各類社會鬥爭與矛盾的轉化，並概括了這壹時代的歷史巨變，塑造了壹群叱咤風雲的三國英雄人物。

Description
"The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" describes the history of nearly a hundred years from the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty to the early years of the Western Jin Dynasty. Sima Yan ruled the three kingdoms and established the Jin Dynasty. It reflects the transformation of various social struggles and contradictions in the Three Kingdoms era, summarizes the great historical changes in this era, and shapes a group of heroes of the Three Kingdoms.
The book can be roughly divided into five major parts: the Yellow Turban Uprising, Dong Zhuo's Rebellion, Heroes Fighting for Deer, Three Kingdoms, and Three Kingdoms Returning to Jin. On the broad historical stage, a series of magnificent war scenes were displayed. The author, Lieutenant General Luo Guan's thirty-six strategies in the art of war, are in between the lines, with both plot and strategy of war.
"The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is the first chapter novel in the history of Chinese literature, the pioneering work of historical novels, and the first literati novel, one of the four classic Chinese classics.
