5 ★ All kinds of Anime to be had here. The navigation for dub, sub and language options has gotten a lot better. I have been using this service for more than a year now & I can definitely say that the user interface has improved a lot, but there's still more that needs to be done. Sometimes, my episodes watched will be reset, so continuing on with a series where I left off can make me wonder if I had watched it at all. This is usually for a series where episodes are still being released.

1 ★ Major issues with this app, won't even display the page for me. Literally had to cancel my subscription twice because Google renewed my subscription and didn't give me my member benefits, then when I did get it fixed through the actual developers instead of Google, the app stopped displaying anything at all. Waste of my time and money, pretty much lost 2 months worth of money for my plan benefits cause I didn't even get to use them. Thanks.

3 ★ Phone app works well the android tv app is glitchy and wont load if you want to let's say go back to a previously watched episode... You end up having to force stop the app and then reopen and then start all over again it'll work then but every single time it does this. You can also delete the cache every single time... (Chromecast with Google TV 4k)

4 ★ AFTER OVER A YEAR... FINALLY the Crunchyroll App WORKS BETTER‼️ I was going back and forth with support for over a year. Like clockwork, every month I needed to complain about constant issues, freezing, crashes, and lack of smooth operation during casting to a TV or device. It's been 2 to 3 straight months of no issues and improved capabilities. I complained about the issues for over a year and gave a scathing review, now time to update it. 4/5 (minus 1 for the lack of dub episodes available.

1 ★ Lags after 4 episodes, usually locks up taking a force stop to clear. You can't scroll the similar list under a show without fussing to with it. This behavior has gotten worse since the past update. Then there is getting to your desired content; you can't browse by dubs, or see by a glance like you can on the website an which is an added pain. And then once you find something it randomly goes into infinite loading loops, taking backing out 1-4 times to sort out... I could go on, but 500 chars...

1 ★ Servers are beans, if you want a streaming service that lets you watch a show for 5 minutes then buffer then freeze, then restart after 30 seconds and then for no reason at all randomly jump back 100 episodes then this is the one for you. All my other services run great at 1080p and 4k but this app is just terrible. Shows randomly appear as unavailable then come back only to disappear again. App freezes on Android TV randomly and boots you back to the home menu, Android phone app just crashes.

1 ★ Very glitchy, and by the looks of it I'm not the only with the problem. Quite possibly the worst streaming app I've ever seen. Does not play over apps. So if I go to the home screen the Crunchy shuts down. There's no memory, so if I click out of the app or say you get a phone call, or you get a text and just drag down to quick respond, all actions restart the video your watching from the beginning or just restart the app. Honestly not sure how they can get away with charging for this app.

4 ★ I would give 5 stars, but on the free version the ads are really annoying. Also, half the time I would get an ad that failed to load and would just make my screen go black and I couldn't do anything but restart the app which would restart the episode which meant more ads, I don't think the problem is my phone or my internet. The premium is only 8$, pretty good deal in my opinion, and that got rid of the problem!

2 ★ I love a lot of shows on here, but the app itself is terrible. I have had so many issues where it just closes out, skips scenes, and freezes. To watch a full episode of something, I have to rewind and/or completely close out of the app and reopen it several times. I thought maybe it was just my ps2 because it's old, but the same thing happens on my phone too, even though I have the latest updates on both.

3 ★ If I could do 2½ stars I would instead of 3. This app is great for it's anime selections. As far as streaming goes, it's just so horrible. When I stream on my TV, just browsing or getting to where I need to takes SO long. When I am finally watching on my TV, it will randomly stop and exit the show. It can happen either once or a few times. Same thing happens on my phone. I honestly wish there was a different streaming service but this is the only one that has a vast selection.

2 ★ I absolutely love the variety of anime you can watch, but the ads are excessive. In a 20-minute episode, I got 3 ad breaks that go up from 3-6 ads. Each ad is around 10-35 seconds long. Also, the premium isn't worth it. I've also crashed so many times in this app. If you're patient and don't mind getting interrupted in the middle of an amazing anime,then this app is fine. But otherwise, it's a great app besides the ads.

2 ★ This app kinda sucks, it's basically unwatchable without a membership, I have mixed feelings too though. I find the quality very good and smooth, but the ads...when I first started without a membership, ads went from a few seconds, to SEVEN WHOLE MINUTES WORTH OF ADS. Basically, if you plan on watching this with a membership, then you will be having the best time of your life, but if you aren't, I hope you have a extremely long attention span.

3 ★ Lots of great selections with fantastic quality, a library you won't get bored with. But I seem to have a problem with the language settings. I can't get the mobile app to play the shows I want in my local dubs (English), even when the app advertises them dubbed. I followed the instructions to set the "preferred language" to English, and it still plays with Japanese audio.

2 ★ Crunchyroll is absolutely Horrible for streaming. The wide range selection is amazing. Anything and everything to watch to match your moods. But when it comes to streaming, on devices other than your phone or tablet. Just awful. Could be home alone, no one on my Internet, and I have to deal with constant Buffering, sudden pausing then the episode fast forwarding, or pausing to down grade video resolution. The apps just Awful. And to the point of not having it nor the subscription.

1 ★ Lots of great content, too bad you cant watch any of it without buffering every 10 seconds, or having choppy video and audio. This has been an issue for YEARS and they haven't resolved it. Customer service is poor, at best. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. if you can deal with the constant buffering and ads, then it might be great for you. Read any other review and they all state the same exact thing. Disappointment.
