All this is done through a low power mode that allows not to pull down your battery.
To achieve this goal the position is sent once every 15 minutes or so and not continuously.
The application also works when there is no network and sends the points collected once the network revenue.
Each point is of course described with the date and time of generation and sending.
App permissions
