Description
Super X-Fi technology works by mapping the head and ear, and transforming audio based on those features, for the individual. It allows you to experience audio as if it’s coming from outside the headphones, and the headphones seemingly disappear!
Leveraging on leading-edge precision technology that maps the distinct acoustics of an audio system projecting sound to the human ear in three-dimensional space, the SXFI App utilizes Super X-Fi technology to deliver a holographic audio experience that intelligently translates that complex information into an identical breath-taking listening experience for the headphones.
In addition, everybody hears sound differently in the real world, depending on the shape of one's ears and structure of the head. The Super X-Fi technology further uses Artificial Intelligence to predict how an individual hears sound based on the map of the individual's head and ear, then utilizes computational audio to transform and custom tailor the audio to each individual, so that it sounds perfect to each and every one, and like what they hear in the real world.

2 ★ Creates ear mapping profiles. Doesn't connect to my X3 though, saying the device is not configured properly. Well, so what? Is there a way I could actually configure the x3 for it.?Fortunately the profiles can be downloaded through the Command app.
1 ★ The App constantly says network is busy. Returning headphones for a refund
1 ★ Terrible head mapping tool, even the physical X3 won't let me sign into the physical device even though the password and user is 100% correct. The removal of the SBX on the Creative Commander interface on desktop does not help at all, since sfxi isn't worth it.

3 ★ You need a better voice for the SXFI, or record it better. Unable to map cause app doesn't like my left ear, only recognizes the right.
1 ★ Using Creative Outlier V2, with the app and it made music sound rubbish. Lost bass, too much treble, no soundstage. The exact opposite of expansive audio, and I shouldn't be expected to faff around with an eq when the original track sounded just fine played on another music player app. A ton of details that I'm familiar with in songs were missing aswell. Deleted app and account. Still love the outlier V2's
1 ★ I love my gold earpods, but NEVER use this atrocious app. I wrote articles for Denmark's most visited Android website back in 2013 and have rooted like ten Android devices and an XDA developer forum member since 2011. Point being, I'm no Android newbie and I can safely say that this sad excuse for an app is, by orders of magnitude, the worst music app I've ever had the displeasure of using. It baffles the mind. Headset is gold. App is a gold painted something left by a dog on the sidewalk.
5 ★ Magical music experience, using Creative Outlier Gold. Yes there's no folder played. I'm just rename the genre of all songs on my specific folder. Select all song on the folder and rename to Folder01Genre, Folder02Genre, etc. Now you can play genre based same as folder base, right!!!
3 ★ Needs a major overhaul. Basic functions like playlists/favourites unavailable. SXFI turns on and off randomly by itself. SXFI should not only be available on the app alone but extended system wide.
4 ★ Weird at first when you've been so used to listening to music "normally". It takes a little while to adjust to listening to the music "outside" of your head, and if you start off with Lady Gaga, the difference is almost painful (EQ settings are essential for the adjustment). But after getting used to it, Norah Jones sounds like night and day between turning the amp on and off. There's depth to her voice that you've never heard before. Vocals are still weird, but I think it'll get better soon.
1 ★ Edit: SXFI added a new profile for HIFIMAN's Anada, perfect for my Aurvana SE. Now it finally sounds magical! Final Edit: spoilt in little more than a year, and it is not even used daily, at most once a week. F@Rc u creative, your products are so poorly made that no wonder SXFI didn't revoluntionarise earphone like it rightly should. I am boucotting ur shet.
5 ★ Sounds rich and powerful with the Amp device, most suitable for multi-channel audio such as movies. Not so great with just the app. For stereo music, it gives an expansion effect that sounds strange at first, but it made me realised why I usually turn the volume down as music sounds too close for comfort. With this stereo expansion, I don't feel so claustrophobic. Nice improvement for everyday music. Hope there's a version for Bluetooth earphones so that it's less cumbersome.
2 ★ Depends on your device. Works great on Galaxy s8, but not at all on Galaxy s10+. I was disappointed that it will not even turn on with the 10+. Both are on Verizon in the USA. I hope this can be fixed with an update, but if you have the 10+ don't expect this to work at all. The biggest bummer is that i loved it on my old phone and can't use it on my new one!
5 ★ Awesome product! Below are some pros and con I have noticed so far. Hope this is info is useful for you to make the purchase. 1. Head mapping. Some experiment you can try yourself. If you tilt your head backwards too much at the ear mapping stage, the sound actually appears to be coming from the front bottom. Interesting findings as I thought the head mapping was just a gimmick. Overall the head mapping can be done quite easily. 2. Surround sound. In case it was not clarified properly, this app is used to do head mapping, but once that's done and info synced to the amp, you do not need to use the app to listen to your music. Tried this amp on my PC and compared with my logitech g933 surround sound capability. It is surprising identical. Which means surround sound capability in future is no longer headphone dependent. 3. Audio lagginess. While watching video with this amp makes the audio effect sounds awesome, it is causing some weird lagginess and slowness on my phone (nova 3i). My suspect would possibly be caused by the slower CPU processing power of the phone. Not sure if there's other facing the same problem. Interested buyers might want to take note of this.
1 ★ Useless. Creative SXFI Gamer strongly endorse this app, even as soon as you open the box you are demanded to set up the app first! Yet, the headset is not listed as a device? Poor. Poor. Poor. Seems like a gimmick anyway..
