Description
The Edsby app has many of the capabilities of the main Edsby web browser interface. Some complex features for certain types of users, such as the Edsby gradebook used by teachers, aren't available on devices with small screen sizes.
Edsby is helping education transform to the modern digital era. School districts, states, provinces, and countries adopt Edsby for community engagement, learning management, assessment & reporting, and student well-being.
Your education organization manages its own, private Edsby system. To log into it, you’ll need to know its Edsby server address. If you don’t know it, ask your school.
App permissions
Edsby 2.2.4.3 APK requires following permissions:

1 ★ This app is truly revolutionary in the sense that no matter how hard you try to work with it, it always seems to be rising up against you. Why is it that my phone can emulate a PSP or a 3DS just fine but can barely run an app that lets me hand in my homework online? This app crashes all the time, but when it doesn't crash, it's laggy, and the UI is clunky. I'm normally pretty good with figuring out bad UI, but I've been using this app (and its site) for over 4 years and I can still barely navigate it. I can't wrap my head around it. This app is the definition of a necessary evil. I hate it with every fiber of my being, but I have to use it for school. I thought the website was the pits of UI hell, but apparently, it was just the gates, this is it. This is the pits of hell. I could probably come up with a better UI and I'm a high schooler who can barely code, and whose drawings/design mockups all look like Helen Keller's ill-fated attempt at using MS Paint.
1 ★ This app is trash. As a student of the KPRDSB, my teachers urge us to use this application. Unfortunately, this application does not work as intended. Whenever I enter the app, it locks into landscape view, and doesn't rotate back. Also, whenever I try to share a file with one of my teachers, the app freezes, and then crashes. More recently, the app freezes at the entrance screen, where I have to input my School Board Code. I am now unable to communicate with my teachers during quarantine.
1 ★ Horrible app, not as good as the one they had few years ago remind. This has been giving me issues since it started out and still giving me problems now!
1 ★ I recently moved from Newfoundland and Labrador (their schools use Google classroom) to Ontario (their schools use edsby). Even when not comparing it to the clearly superior Google classroom, edsby is complete garbage. It's a slow, buggy mess. Pair that with confusing UI and I don't understand why any school district in their right mind would pick this over the competition. I deleted the app right away and used the website, which isn't much better. Stay away if possible.
1 ★ It's dumb that we need a specific server ID when we can. Already log in from a computer. Why do we need a server ID just to use the ap.
2 ★ Have to re sign in every time and nothing loads properly. Always have to refresh to get things to actually show up.
1 ★ Aside from viewing recent messages sent by teachers this app is useless. View absenses? Go to desktop version. Want to see a message sent 2 weeks ago? Go to desktop version. Newsflash edsby developers...there are many parents who use primarily phones or tablets who don't have quick or easy access to a laptop or desktop. Even trying to log in through a mobile browser takes you to the mobile version.
1 ★ Can't login on samsung galaxy 10 even after spending an hour on it. Keep showing server is out of date inspire i did every thing possible.
1 ★ This app is supposed to make "home schooling" easier for parents, it does the total opposite. It is not user friendly at all. Unorganized tabs and usage. I have 3 kids that are in different gradea and all 3 teachers use the app in different ways. There is no consistency. The app freezes allllll the time. Because of all the issues with app we easily get frustrated and none of the actual school work gets completed.
1 ★ I am giving one star without providing issues! Because if you are a good (even mid range) app developers you would ask yourself "Why my app is 2.2 star? May I use it as a parent for 2 3 months and see what I would need and what's not working. Why should I waste my time replying to each comment while majority are not satisfied? Replying to comments works when you are 4 star and you want improvement, 2.2 star means "Just remove it"
1 ★ One, there are better apps for school, two you have to do some things on a computer so if you don't have one then you might not be able to join clubs and Three, this app is extremely glitchy and tends not to save.
1 ★ Stuck stuck stuck! After deleting the app many times and reinstalling, once I sign in I'm stuck on the same page as before I deleted the app and cannot click on anything else. No updates have been made. I don't always have access to a desktop or laptop.
1 ★ No push notifications, generally confusing, both teachers and students have a hard time using this app.
1 ★ Horrible, never ever loads correctly and doesn't display work, I always end up missing assignments, cause I never see them
1 ★ Honestly, this app makes me uncomfortable. I don't like the way the little blue robot is staring at me. Once I had a dream and it touched me all over the place, and it touched me in my no no square. It put its antennas in my bum. And wiggled them until I came. I'm sorry but this app just isn't school appropriate maybe on porn sure but here no.
