5 ★ Great app been using for years! Back up your tracks and save externally before you buy a new phone. Thanks for a great product!

5 ★ This is hands down the best ski tracking app. Sure the interface is dated, but it tracks consistently and doesn't have any unnecessary fluff.

5 ★ Love the app. Use it every day on the slopes. I would love to see a history total. As every season together to get a lifetime total.

5 ★ Excellent backup of histories. I have gone through 3 cell phones and still have all my history intact. No battery usage issues either. Like the satellite map mode.

5 ★ I've used it ever since I got my first android phone. It's NOT battery-hungry and NOT only for skiing and saves .gpx and .k* files to feed into google earth. It tries to interpret car trips into ski runs, which is kind of cool, but the saved files don't care what you were doing, just when and where you were. A warning: Turn off the 'battery monitor' unless you really need it -- I had forgotten about that setting and it stopped tracking 2/3 of the way through a car trip although there was 30% of the battery left. Google maps IS a battery hog, and that's what ate up the battery -- Ski Tracks had used only 3%. I liked it enough to pay money for it (it may be free now) AND the authors respond to email!

5 ★ It's a great app and I use it every time I hit the slopes or head into the backcountry. The "Max Speed" readout will end up being the death of me since I constantly try to set a new record. The only glitch I've found is that the edits to tracks in history where you add a name, rating, snow conditions, etc. tend to get lost. I love all the data collected, mapping, and individual run stats.

2 ★ I used this for 2-3 years tracking ski stats and when set on "snowshoeing" for hikes - it worked great. Maybe 4-5 months ago it started dropping the GPS connection (that's a guess) on a regular basis, yielding useless maps and data. I deleted and re-installed several times, no luck. I hope they fix whatever went wrong, based on other reviews this isn't just my issue.

1 ★ Everytime I start going down the mountain it gives me a gps error. I get about 3 error messages on each run and it records about a quarter of my day... ok n a good day. It seems to work great going up the lift though. 🙄 I'm pretty disappointed because last time I had this app - 6 years ago and on a much less sophisticated phone- it worked just fine. I have a galaxy S7.

1 ★ Flat out does not work on OnePlus 5. Bought the app for a trip out west after hearing how great this app is. At best tracked 1 run for the day and at worst tracked nothing. Why did tracking pause on its own? Am I expected to check that its tracking on every chairlift up? Would return for a refund if I could but it's after 48 hrs. Here's hoping for an update...

5 ★ Works very well on Samsung S8. One suggestion: some dialogs (e.g. confirmation for "pause") show in dark blue letters on black background - hard to see on a bright day. White letters would work better. I also have a spooky feeling that the app overestimates the peak speed, at least while skiing in Europe (in the US it felt reasonable). The speed is reported in km/h on both continents. Must be paranoia on my part...

5 ★ I love this app! I've been using it for 6 years and I love how it tracks every run, vert, speed - everything!

4 ★ Excellent app for logging ski trips. I'm starting my third season with it. One star off because the gpx export is still incompatible with any other program I have (especially Garmin). Not even GPSBabel can read it. SOLUTION: I recently discovered that GPSVisualizer online can convert this gpx to a fully readable gpx file easily. Looking into the file, this appears to be caused by the way Ski Tracks expresses time.

5 ★ Worked great on Pixel 2...10AM-3PM use brought battery from 98% to around 75%, which isn't bad and obviously it wasn't the only app running during that time (I did pause it while indoors at lunch). I like the simple interface, which favors key functions and usability over dazzling me with color. If I could ask for another feature, it would be more around the analysis one views after the day, in particular to make it easy to see where exactly my highest speed was achieved.

3 ★ Have usee this app for years. Great app but only 3 stars because this season, it seems to be using up battery MUCH faster than ever before. I've needed to use my external battery pack every time I've been skiing this year; in the past, I've only needed it for a really long day.

1 ★ This just doesn't stay connected to the Satellites, at least not at Powder Mountain on a very clear day. Useless. GPS issue notifications all day long and it didn't seem like it was ever recording stats even remotely accurately. The most accurate recording I got was during the bus ride to hop on the snowcat. Any way to get the $0.99 back? Junk.
