ACS Meetings & Events 10.3.3.0 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to write the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to read the user's calendar data.

Allows an application to write the user's calendar data.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to record audio.

1 ★ Just downloaded it to prepare for the spring 2019 meeting. Except it's not there. What's the point? By the way, the planning website is pretty bad too.

5 ★ I see lots of one star reviews here after the last meeting. On Samsung galaxy s5 and u.s. Cellular phone service (not to mention every presentation and area I visited had open wifi) I had no problems with this app. It loaded fine, was semi-intuitive once you understood the basic conference organization, and streamlined my plans for sending talks. I hope acs improves the app to integrate it with Google maps for locating buildings where events will occur. Don't listen to the haters, you're doing great! Keep improving. Thus is the future.

1 ★ Brutally slow. Even a simple author search crashes or takes minutes. If I used this to schedule talks the conference would be over before I could finish my schedule.

1 ★ The app is as unwieldy as the ACS National Meeting itself.

1 ★ App freeze a lot... this app needs lots of work, ACS is slacking off on this technology for the price they charge for registration
