Description
Net Nanny collects location data to track your device location, create location history reports and give arrival and departure alerts when configured by your parent, location tracking occurs even when the app is closed or not in use.

Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows an application to collect component usage statistics
Declaring the permission implies intention to use the API and the user of the device can grant permission through the Settings application.
Allows an application to collect battery statistics

2 ★ This app has been breaking my phone since I installed it. I have been having glitches through apps, am unable to block things on my child's phone , and it is to easy to avoid.
1 ★ Doesn't work. I can update the screentime allowance, and that reflects in the app, but while it shows time left, it still says the current rule is no internet. The sync with servers button does nothing. Oh and it crashes all the time. Version10.7.4 is complete garbage.
1 ★ This app slows down every web page that I try to load, most of which I can't even load. Will be getting rid of this thing so I can actually use my computer. This restricts things alright - it restricts me from accessing most anything at all!
1 ★ This app drains my battery, restricts the most innocuous things, makes my WiFi slow, and is overall very controlling. You're just lucky that negative stars aren't possible because if it were, you'd get a negative 50!

2 ★ This is not a good app. Blocks safe websites and apps. There are many ways to get around it. Do not get parental controls, it doesn't do anything.
2 ★ Poor. It works for a week or two before I have to uninstall/reinstall. Good news is I've reinstalled so much that I could do it in my sleep.
2 ★ I purchased this as a annual subscription, not satisfied. The web filtering only works on 1 or 2 browsers, and if you open the browser fast enough, you can stay on blocked sites.
