Description
את הקריירה המוזיקלית החל נרקיס בגיל 16, אז הוציא את אלבומו הראשון, "תפילת חיי", שכלל בעיקר שירים בסגנון טורקי. מתוכו יצא הלהיט "כמו פרפר".
כעבור שנה הוציא נרקיס את אלבומו השני, "העולם כמו גלגל". מהאלבום יצאו מספר שירים כמו "מה קרה לליבה", "העולם כמו גלגל" ו-"נשבע, לא משקר".
במקביל לשירותו בצה"ל הוציא נרקיס את האלבום "את הוא הכוכב", שהלהיט הגדול מתוכו היה "ילדונת" שזכה להשמעות רבות. במהלך שירותו הצבאי היה נרקיס שו��ף, יחד עם חברו לילדות תמיר צור, להקמת צוות ההווי המזרחי הראשון.
לאחר שחרורו הוציא נרקיס את האלבום "סימנים" ואחרי צאתו הוא ביצע מהפך בסגנון שירתו ועבר ממוזיקה מזרחית טורקית למוזיקה ים תיכונית קלילה.
בשנת 2000 הוציא את האלבום "חי לאהבה", שכלל בעיקר מחרוזות ללהיטים מזרחיים וכעבור שנה הוציא את האלבום "רק איתך", שכלל את המגה להיט "לכל אחד יש", בו שיתף פעולה עם שלומי שבת שגם כתב את הלחן למילים של עוזי חיטמן. השיר הוכתר ל"שיר השנה"
