Description

How does it work?
The Communauto app allows you to:
• Search and book a vehicle up to 30 days in advance for planned trips
• Locate and block a FLEX car for your spontaneous trips
• Unlock and lock cars
• Filter your vehicle searches and get key information: car number, model, location, etc.
• View your upcoming, past or canceled trips

1 ★ The app does not work on my Google pixel. It used to work on my old phone but now I can't use it anymore.
5 ★ Great for reserving, extending, or cancelling your communauto reservation
3 ★ Great mobile app. But the desktop site is bad, and the pricing plans are confusing. Communauto is an excellent service, but productization needs improvement.
1 ★ Does not work on my Google phone. In my previous phone, the app used to break from time to time. E.g.: it didn't let me release the car, even with car key and card in the right place and everything in order to do so.
2 ★ Service getting worse and price doubled and rises each year, I do not recommend.

1 ★ Doesn't work on my Google phone. Will have to leave your car share and join another.
2 ★ Frustrating app. Limited features. Living in Lasalle, I only have two cars at a walking distance. No way to see their availability with the app. Also, no way to search for a two hour slot daytime this week. U have to enter specific time, and keep searching. Worst, every time you change the start time for later, it tells you u cannot because the end time is before, damn. I didn't even press search. Or change the end date automatic when we change start date, like an outlook meeting.
1 ★ Communauto is a great service supported by terrible tools. The website (user area) is a joke and feels like it's been made 10 years ago and not updated since. If only the app was good that will be okay, but unfortunately, it is subpar and laking. It's a shame for a great service like this one. Nowadays, with all the other players in the ride-sharing business it is unforgivable.
2 ★ communauto as a service is great for my use case. This review is specifically related to their app. Not sure why but everytime I open app it keeps setting the wrong city. I keep having to go to settings to change it to Calgary. Otherwise no cars would show. I have yet to find a way to change the default city. I have tried updating my profile and reinstalling app
2 ★ I really love the communauto service, but the app is very broken. I can't release cars, I have to just lock the keys in the car and hope it times out properly, which charges me for a few extra hours of use. I also can almost never view my invoices, it says "Connection error" even though this is the only place invoices are available, they're not even on the website.
4 ★ Customer Service is A+. System overall A+. Few kinks to work out though: a service that charges by time, but no timer on the app?! The app signs me out frequently, no reason, always when starting trip on a reserved car, or ending trip, when using the app, not dormant. Billing system: how/when payments are taken =not logical or easy to understand, nor to separate biz from personal trips for bookkeeping, it's a nightmare for my paper-free biz! Lots of extra time and documentation required.
1 ★ Too many manual processing being handled by the back office whenever you make requests through the app, app reliability is very bad and support is barely supportive.
1 ★ The service itself is great, but the app is not. One simple option that MUST HAVE is a report button. If you're getting the car and you want to report any damage or mess or dirty YOU HAVE TO CALL AND WAIT LOTS OF MINUTES. Come on, it's a car sharing service paid by the time spent, nobody has that time to waste on a call. Please insert a button, with specific fields, special photos. And please, try to encourage your costumer service employees because they apparently hate to work on the company
