Stamp collector or curious just about a stamp you see? Stamp Identifier uses advanced image recognition technology to find that stamp and provide you more details about it, courtesy of colnect.com, a social network for worldwide collectors which has the world's largest online stamp catalog and a huge marketplace to buy and sell your stamps.
Use your camera, choose an image from gallery or share an image from any website you visit to find your stamp.

5 ★ I am really enjoying this app. Only a few unidentifiable so far, but most US and World Stamps with no problem. Love the favorites part, but (there's always a but); It would be REALLY cool if you could add them to "sets" once they're in your favorites. You could name the set and then move the stamp to the set you want. The coin apps already do this. Check out the PCGS Registry app if you want to see what I'm talking about. You could sort them by country, Varieties, dates, postage amounts etc😁
3 ★ 3 stars because there is no option to pay a one time fee to get rid of the constant Ads... I would gladly pay once but asking for monthly payments is outrageous. Besides that, it is a pretty good app for identifying stamps.
1 ★ This app sucks. For the price it falls well short of anything helpful.Google lens for free is much more helpful in identifying your stamps.Dont waste your money on it.
5 ★ Stamp Identifier works very well has identified most stamps I have tried. Have sent stamps to them to help improve the application. Would recommend to anyone collecting stamps.
1 ★ What a ridiculous price. 🤣 In response to their reply I don't want to be bombarded with adverts and the price is ridiculous (free isn't a price). I'll stick with Google Lens.

5 ★ *** issue has been resolved. Bumping up to 5 stars*** Great app. Currently on the pixel 7, the app will not allow me to select a saved image to scan saying that I've denied it this permission. Going into the app settings, it shows only camera as a permission to be granted. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not present the option to grant access to saved images. A definite 5 if this could be resolved.

1 ★ This used to be a nice app. Now it has so many ads it is ridiculous and I will remove this app from my phone. This app has one ad each time I try to identify a stamp.
2 ★ Tried 3 apps all different names but all the same identical app, pretty useless. It was unable to identify a single stamp even after following your simple instructions to the letter. Are you sure it's the only app because there are at least 2 others with exactly the same layout, design and results!
4 ★ I have yet to find a stamp it has not found, and dome have been pretty obscure. It would therefore be 5 stars except that you have to sometimes tweak the margins of your image to get it to recognise the stamp, and this can be quite time consuming if you have a lot of stamps to identify. Also, it is just buzarre some of the suggestions it comes up with before the actual one.
4 ★ It is a great help so far. I do not have catalogues and must always ask other stamp collectors for help and do research on internet. With this app it is easy to find info, dates, variants and figure out the rest of sets ect. Would like to see a value rating of some sort to compare with prices on internet. That would be neat 😃 A+++
4 ★ I like the idea...and the way the results are listed but the results are not accurate. I try to cut the background but it doesnt work. In results i try to get sone info about the stamps and nothing occurs. I think the app should show more database info from the web page. EDITED: About your answer...i can say that when i click on a result nothing happens and at the end of the page i cant see nothing special...My phone is using android 5.4 Samsung alpha...quite old...maybe thats the problem.
3 ★ I would quite happily pay for this app. Right now, with no paid option, the adds are driving me nuts. At first, the adds were few and random, but now I'm getting an add with every new search, waiting valuable time while using this great app. I totally understand the need to generate revenue, but I'd much rather pay and not see adds, and then you will recieve 5 stars from me no ptoblem
4 ★ I downloaded this recently with low hopes, but was pleasantly surprised! It finds many of the stamps accurately and the team is very quick to reply to questions and issues I had. Cropping can be time consuming, but for the apps free and good software and saving capabilities it's very good! Definitely recommend, download this app!
