About the app:
Collabora Office for Android uses the same engine as LibreOffice for Windows, Mac, and Linux. This, combined with a new front-end based on Collabora Online, reads and saves documents similarly to LibreOffice desktop.
Collabora Engineers Tor Lillqvist, Tomaž Vajngerl, Michael Meeks, Miklos Vajna, Jan Holešovský, Mert Tümer and Rashesh Padia have been developing Android support since 2012, with the help of Google Summer of Code students Andrzej Hunt, Iain Billet and Kaishu Sahu.

2 ★ Barely usable because if its slow responsiveness Added note to developer: Very simple documents take up to 10 seconds to load, moving the table around is stuttering and happening at low framerates Simply selecting another field takes about a second, tapping into the formula field to start editing it takes another two seconds..
4 ★ The default format for new documents is the open document format, although the program can export to other formats, and when I have a keyboard and mouse/trackpad connected to my tablet (It's about the size of a small laptop, so pretty frequently), I feel as the controls are somewhat lacking. Most of the keyboard shortcuts aren't where I expect them to be, or missing entirely. Regardless, it's a very good Office Suite for Android, and I would definately reccomend this to my friends.
4 ★ Great alternative to other products and can be used on the go. Disadvantages -- button for italicized text is not so easy to find when the keyboard isn't opened; to exit from presentation mode (for ODP), You need to lock and unlock the screen, otherwise I couldn't do it. UPD: Thank You for the reply. Regarding the second issue, maybe the tap on the last slide can be made a shortcut for exiting the presentation mode?
1 ★ I really wanted this to work. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 with the Snapdragon 865+ chip, and trying to work with a table, half the cells don't update and display when I scroll, it is slow and laggy, and after waiting for over a minute to allow the screen to update, I have now decided to uninstall and never look back. It locks up frequently when using it within Samsung DeX. Forget trying to resize the window. Forcing the window to resize causes the app to crash. Not productive at all.
4 ★ I find Collabora's spreadsheet both useful and good, but the word processor doesn't work at all. --- The trouble I've experienced regards input; in short, the only way I can enter text is by pasting. I'm using Collabora Office on a Chromebook. --- Looking forward to the new version. :) --- New version - I'm able to use the word processor program now, so raising the star rating.
2 ★ MASSIVE typing lag, also lag when zooming in/out. The latest update has changed NOTHING on that front..I have a Chromebook with 8GB ram, Intel i5, so there is no hardware issue for me. As I said in the last review, the idea is fantastic, it looks great, but it is simply unusable for me because of the lag..uninstalling, may revisit at some point in the future to see if it actually works for me, but may not.
2 ★ Why even put an option there if it doesn't work? It already has a limited number of options in comparison to the desktop version (understandably), but why have ones that don't work at all included. Get rid of the WHOLE "Data" tab for your soreadd. None of those options work except for sorting, which you can move into another one.
3 ★ Can open and edit files from SMB servers. But when opening, it's editing a local copy in the file manager cache, which is not reuploaded afterwards. Needs a bit more work, but going in the right direction
5 ★ Amazing office suite, It just needs the option to directly draw inside documents using fingers or stylus. Also if palm rejection software is available that would make it more amazing. Thank you for your great work.
5 ★ Thank you Collabora! This app provides outstanding performance and intuitive interface to access format and document that feel nicely like LibreOffice on a desktop. And the working file is easily managed and can be synced between platforms.
5 ★ Fantastic app. Works great on Chromebook 4. Excellent for anyone who wants to get away from Microsoft and using LibreOffice. Also does not sync you private and personal documents with Google Docs.
5 ★ Displaying .ods files, the first line of the sheet isn't visible. It is hidden by the toolbar. Since I know what it should in my own spreadsheets this is an irritating niggle that deducts a star. Updated: Added the fifth star now that the first line is visible. Thanks for that. Updated again: Displaying a .xls file, freezing the pane in cell C2 doesn't prevent header and line titles from scrolling
4 ★ Great office app. Be even better if there was an option to always save as docx, xlsx etc. rather than saving as otd and having to export to docs. Otherwise great features and easy to use
3 ★ Won't open Nextcloud doc's. I have Dropbox and Nextcloud and Dropbox doc's open fine, but Nextcloud just comes back with 'close app' etc. I've tried different doc's and the result is the same. I am using Chrome version 88.0.4324.22 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) on a Asus C523 Chromebook.
1 ★ Integration with Nextcloud app, for any instance, is broken. Google Drive files and files on my SD card work, but isnt Collabora supposed to have some sort of partnership with Nextcloud? I'm on a Samsung Galaxy A11 with Android 10 and any file opened from NC crashes Collabora. The file does get listed in the Recent files section of the homepage tho
