3 ★ Used to be a really great app for selling things. I got signed out of my original account and haven't been able to sign back in through facebook. Also, the rules are getting much too strict. I have much better results on facebook marketplace lately.
2 ★ All of a sudden, the ad takes up half my screen, which only allows me to see 2 items in the feed at a time. This is the last straw for me dropping this platform, as the local communities in and around Montréal are administered by zealots, users are out to get strikes against other users, and sellers are not transacting in the groups they post in.
2 ★ Like using the app for purchasing local, since I do not have a facebook account to use market place. People have been great in my area but the app is constantly logging me out while browsing or trying to do anything. Then when I go to log back in it tells me that my information is not correct. Very frustrating.
4 ★ This app provides an excellent chance to sell stuff locally. It is a great oppertunity. It can sometimes be difficult to deal with some of the people on there. It seems to be pretty much a 50-50 chance of a good or bad transaction. That isn't the apps fault though. And the people in charge of it do their best to keep things running smoothly. 😊 I highly recommend it if you are a good 'people person' and pretty low key.
3 ★ Varying experiences with this app. The app itself seems to have a lot of issues and I get logged out. If you are going to meet someone take a screenshot so when the app doesn't work, you still have the info. When it does work, it runs smoothly.
2 ★ VarageSale is great, but the app is mediocre. Sometimes I'll see that I have notifications about followed categories, but I have to kill and reopen the app to read them. Other times, there's a huge lag between a person messaging me and the notification popping up.
1 ★ So annoying. Hardest shopping app to get into (the verifications). Can't just be as simple as just creating an account or signing in. And now it's kicked me off and I can't get into my account. There are much better second hand apps out there for anyone looking.
5 ★ Five star experience with people, but four stars for the amount of local traffic. It's just like letgo used to be years ago before cofferup bought them out. Minimal scams because of the moderators, which makes the process worth it. As a side note, you can comment on an item publicly, or msg someone privately, which was confusing at first but I like it now.
1 ★ Long time user. A week ago I had varage and it was working fine. Did an update and i haven't been able to log in, either through email or facebook. I would like this resolved asap as i have people waiting on me there!
1 ★ The last update is very glitchy. Constantly being logged out even though I keep following the admins fix / work around. And now the ads are blocking half my screen on the mobile app! Try to "x" then out, but the white space stays blocking the screen.
2 ★ In the last few days my account keeps closing down and not letting me open the app. I've followed all the instructions given to me however I've lost all of my posts ect. This has only been a problem since they updated their system last week. Too many hours spent trying to fix this problem.
1 ★ I initially liked the app. However, the amount of ads and the nature of most ads are inappropriate. I see that you have included "seeking sexy singles" in one, then another ad for Poshmark Canada which is a competitor for buying & selling. Notifications appear but with no reason why. As well, you can't save anything to a draft mode. Oversaturated with advertisements from companies who compete with me as a seller. Sent technical problems to their help line which they don't respond to.
2 ★ Now Ad covers approximately 45-50% of screen. Before it was only about 10% Thank you for improvement. Users were desperately waiting for more ad right at the bottom, at the area, easy to reach by fingers.
1 ★ I get logged out of this randomly just because. It has done it every day for a week. It wont let me send emails. I have unistalled and reinstalled the app. Its very frustrating as I am a top member. So not being able to corespond with people does not work well for me.
1 ★ Unreasonable, cannot add extra photos unless you download to your phone. Multistep process, Create post, add 1 photo, email other photos to your phone, download to your phone, open app and add photos. Extra steps if you need to edit photos. In just one posting, it will take at least 15 mins! Not to mention the freedom taken away from various tools and the speed of your computer or laptop to working with a tiny keyboard and limited tools on your phone. Choosing your communities also limits your search and the exposure of your product. You are miles away from any improvements.
