Description

KOMCA joined CISAC (Confederation of International Copyright Associations) as an associate member in 1987, and was promoted to full member in 1995. In 2004, the CISAC General Assembly was held to raise international awareness, and in 2017, the CISAC Asia-Pacific Regional Committee, the largest event in Asia, was held in Seoul. In 2019, it was elected as a board of directors comprised of only 20 organizations from around the world, and currently has international influence beyond Asia.
The goal of our service is to create an environment where both creators and users can benefit in a world where copyright is respected. Correct use of copyright is the starting point for increasing the competitiveness of our cultural economy.
