Download the latest Maverick Pro application, version 2.8, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Maps & Navigation app is developed by Code Sector Australia and is easy to download and install.

Description
• Multiple global online maps:
MapQuest, Open Street Maps (Cycle, Public Transport), Bing, Yandex, Ovi/Nokia, OpenSeaMap.
• Multiple regional online maps:
Ordnance Survey (OS Maps - UK), USGS Topo, NOAA RNC Charts (US), Canada Toporama, OutdoorActive (Germany, Austria, South Tyrol), Esri (Topo, Physical, Imagery, National Geographic, Oceans), HikeBikeMap (Germany), UMP-pcPL, Trail.pl (Poland), GSI (Japan), NearMap (Australia), New Zealand Topo and many other maps.
All maps automatically cached for offline use. Use Mobile Atlas Creator to download maps or MAPC2MAPC to convert maps from other formats.
Since version 2.0 you can add custom map servers.
• Share your current or planned position
You can send address, GPS coordinates, link to Google Maps and even map image.
• Navigate easily
Build-in radar shows the direction, distance and estimated time to a point of interest. See all the nearest locations from FourSquare and Footprints.
• Find your way back
Trackback function will guide you along a previously recorded track with compass pointing to a nearest point. A new track can be recorded at the same time.
• Challenge yourself
Turn on Trackback and timer to watch your previous position correlated with the current time on track.
• Save places you visit
All waypoint stored in KML file and can be viewed and edited in Google Earth.
• Record tracks with single tap
Tracks are recorded in GPX format and can be viewed in Google Earth and other software. Share GPX files via email or DropBox.
• Upload tracks to GPSies
Free account is required for uploading.
• Trip Computer
Watch speed, altitude, pitch and many other values.

3 ★ On Huawei phones, it stops recording when phone is in standby, even after tweaking the power management settings. Strava works fine in the same phone with the same settings. No recording means no trace i the ma, making it harder to navigate. I raised a query with the developer but they haven't responded.
5 ★ The best groud navigation app ever seen. The features of this app is more than one expert navigator need. One more thing I will expect from the developer is to add Google Map to the map list. Then it will be very helpful. Cause the other maps are not so updated like Google Map.
3 ★ Excellent app - used it for years, HOWEVER support woeful - I raised an issue 4 months ago about moving the data/app onto android SD card (which I'd done before) . despite an e-mail saying "our team will report to you very shortly" no report as yet....latest update - now 5 months still no support!
5 ★ This app is the best for me especially in telecommunications work.
3 ★ Love the offline caching of maps and telemetry when off net. Need to improve viewability on modern high-DPI devices. Can't read the map texts and there is no setting to adjust this preference. Zooming changes tile detail level and not text size.
5 ★ This is probably the best mapping app I've ever seen. Simple to use, strores the maps offline on my phone and works with OS Explore maps! Perfect for using in the hills, when walking or on a run for quick reference. Obviously, always have an actual map too.
2 ★ Must be able to call map scales. I would prefer some magnitude of 1:25x for metric or 1:24x for imperial. This app gives a bar of unknown length and says it's 17.3 miles long. Must use whole number scales - not 17.3 miles in the approximately one inch scale bar. This app only has units kilometers, miles and nautical miles available, no feet or meters.
5 ★ Best mapping app for off-road navigation, includes OS maps with contours. I have been trying to find an equivalent for iPhone but there isn't one, and that's the sole reason I still use my android phone!
2 ★ it used to work great but the zoom level doesn't support today's pixel dense screen resolutions. All of the map text, such as street names, are too small to read. Add some sort if zoom factor setting please!
3 ★ After 4 or 5 months of use my map screen is now Blurry. Can't use it very well with a Blurry screen. I've emailed them over a week ago and No one has bothered emailing me back. I like the way it worked for a while. 😏
1 ★ i paid for pro version and now i can't download more than 5000 tiles together. The map is not updated like google map.. useless and not worthy. orux is much better than this.
1 ★ Not happy here. I uninstalled maverick pro which i purchased years ago and now in google play store there is no install button to press. This is not good enough since I paid for it. I can now only install the lite version. Feeling ripped off here!
1 ★ really disappointed, keep saying app stopped working whenever I try to share location or send location in a file. I would rather use a free app than pay 7.99€ and be disappointed like this.
2 ★ Updates Slow, No Sharing Between Devices. there appears to be no way to sshare tracks between my devices. And OSM updates are sporadic at best.
3 ★ Ok mapping app. Can't download maps to sd card. Can't zoom in past "level 18". Has good selection of map servers.
