Description
The white Brain Cube connects to your home network, receives many WLAN-compatible devices and serves as an interface between the Cubes and the homee App. The other cubes each extend the home system with another wireless technology (Z-Wave, Zigbee, EnOcean and Hörmann BiSecur). To keep your home in view at all times, the homee App must be installed on the smartphone or computer. This turns your smartphone into a remote control for your home.
The app has a number of additional features in addition to the usual home functions. You can create your own energy saving plans and select ready-made energy saving plans which help the user to save energy. In combination with a smart meter, many more functions are available in the app.

2 ★ Great idea but terrible implementation. Many services are poorly supported: frequent disconnects, actions have to be repeated. App UI is antiquated and inconsistent: one panel shows a save link, the next panel shows a checkbox button. Many bugs: history export doesn't work, errors are not shown but app refuses to work, biometrics cause weird bugs, homescreen gets blanked, various crashes. App itself is overengineered, but also can't get the basics done.
1 ★ It takes ages to connect with the homee after the update off the app and homee
1 ★ Update September 2020: Homee permanently force close, loses Homee base. Only uninstall and new installation helps. Not working at all. Every update adds more crashes and issues. Please fix.
5 ★ Funktioniert super. Damit lassen sich so gut wie alle Geräte im Haushalt steuern, Licht, Rollo, Garagentor, Steckdosen, Heizung, Gartenbewässerung, Haustür, Fenster, Sensoren usw. Am besten finde ich die einfache Möglichkeit Abläufe zu Automatisieren. Dazu schaut alles schick und übersichtlich aus.
1 ★ Awful app, the interface is not user-friendly, confusing, outdated look. There is no landscape mode! How can it be used with the tablet, for instance? Homee is a very disappointing product overall! We regret for having trusted it. It stays raw although not a startup anymore. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends ever.
