Description

COCOON DVR 3.1.0 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows an application to access extra location provider commands.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an application to broadcast sticky intents.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to call killBackgroundProcesses(String].
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

3 ★ For one, the interface does NOT look like the pictures represented here. Lol. Secondly you cannot cue or review in playback, it keeps jumping back to the start of the footage after you release from the scroll. Set up with an 8 cam system and I get Disk Lost! No recording functionality whatsoever. Supposedly the HD version remedies this but guess what? That app won't link up to the bar code for the equipment. If there's an error message on my screen there should be a definition in the manual explaining it. Disk Lost on a new system is highly unacceptable. The cameras are solid however and a lot of bells and whistles for the PC software but playback should be simplified.
1 ★ Worked in previous versions. This version is just saying device offline or device not found. I only realised it was broken when I was on holiday and really needed the footage. The developers and project managers should be ashamed of themselves for letting this be released without any quality assurance.
1 ★ This was a great app for ages and was very simple to use, then I updated it - BIG MISTAKE! No longer works. Also you don't need need access to most of the things your asking permission for, please just go back to the older version and stop wasting my time!
1 ★ i cannot even view my camera's at home. i liked the old version very easy to login and navigate. When i updated my app to this new version everything stuffed up. Hope you can fix this app as our security relies on this app. very hard to navigatr through this app and vauses alot of inconvenience
3 ★ App has stopped working Was working fine. Updated, reinstalled, updated operating system. Nothing works, goes to a white screen that flashes. Presents some Chinese(?) text in a grey box at bottom of the screen. Please fix. Was rudimentary but reliable for a long time.
5 ★ The quality of app was extremely good on Google Oreo until Google decided to bring goggle Pie. Can you please support Google Pie. The app does not even load on Google Pie. I wanted to give 5 star to the developer and big shout to Vanessa for responding to my mails so promptly. Vanessa your advice to use AEEye worked like a charm. Thank you.
1 ★ I used to use 365SECU - this app used to work good (a few glitches, but it worked) then one day about a year ago it stopped working and haven't been able to use it since with the exception of my PC, but what's the use of that when I want to monitor my security cameras when I'm NOT at home PLUS I have a separate & dedicated monitor for my camera's and therefore don't require the PC version. I then downloaded this App (Cocoon DVR) hoping that it was an update to the other App, but still no luck 😔
1 ★ Hi there, Cocoon Dvr said that I will get e mail to retrieve my password but I have been trying last few days and I am NOT getting an e mail so I can retrieve my password!!! This happens every few month, it refuses passwords and I can not log in. USELESS APP. WILL NOT BUY COOCOON PRODUCT ANYMORE!!!!!. NO BACKUP...
1 ★ Did you say you fixed known bugs or did you mean you introduced them????? It use to work (even though it was slow) and now it doesn't work at all except for a flashing screen with Chinese writing. When will this be fixed?
1 ★ Used to work ok, but now it always says Failed to Connect. Unplugged, reinstalled etc. The light is on but nobody is home. Cheap product and unreliable software.
3 ★ Thank for the new update. Is was much better but now not able to adjust the replay speed. Able to adjust for us to able to fast forward or slower speed. Thank
1 ★ Was working perfectly until this last update. Now all I get is chinese writting in a black box and the screen flashing. You have really stuffed a good app.
1 ★ Cannot view my cameras for over a month now.... it's says failed or now after updates when trying to view cameras live it says device offline.
1 ★ So app is working fine but everytime I login it saves the screens in my gallery which is very annoying because I delete them everytime I login
1 ★ New update killed it, now just a flickering white screen. You suppose to fix bugs not introdusing.
