Download the latest APK Linux application, version 2, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Libraries & Demo app is developed by Centre for Mobile Education and Research and is easy to download and install.

Description
This app is meant for the power user, and is still experimental. In order to use it, you must have ConnectBot (or any other Telent client) installed on your device. Once downloaded and installed, simply press the APK Linux icon and the program will copy the distribution files onto your device and connect via Telnet. Altneratively, you may connect from your desktop using "adb" TCP forwarding on port 9000 and then telneting to localhost. To kill the application completely, open the terminal and type the command "pkill cmer".

5 ★ Played around with it and it's a great concept. I haven't found a use for it yet that I can't already do in my rooted custom bash shell but I'll keep playing with it and see. It did not accept any su commands and it takes a little bit to get the screen size right but it is definitely a step in the right direction. 5 stars for concept and easy implementation.
