***** NB this app (first published in 2012) is not related in any way to the paid app Birds Of Britain that was previously available on Google Play. *****
Search option : Search by name or part of name to see basic bird details such as size, habitat and colours. You also have the option to see full bird details on line.
Browse option : browse all birds or select by family (option to exclude rarities).
Browse Location option : browse what birds are likely to be found in your area at the moment.
Browse Filters function : choose filters by combinations of size, colour and habitat

4 ★ Gives me plenty of birds to check in my garden
5 ★ very useful, more pics of birds including young and females would be great.
2 ★ Of no use to me. If I see a small black bird and I don't think it is a blackbird, how do I search for "small bird, black colour" to find out what my options are. That seems like such a logical need and it is the only thing I wanted to do, the reason why installed this app is to find birds by how look they look and what size they are.
4 ★ The app is quite good but selecting a bird could be easier. A favourites list would be great
