Key Features:
Guest access – An easy way for visitors to get online. Give password-protected Internet access to visiting friends and family while keeping your own information private. No need to remember the guest password, it’s in the app. Simply email the password to your guest and they’ll be online in no time.
Add devices to your network – Quickly connect your computers, gaming consoles, tablets, and other Wi-Fi enabled devices to your network.
Access Wi-Fi settings – Access your network name and password at anytime from anywhere in your home. If you need your password to add a device manually, quickly access it via your app.
Access router features – Keep your router up-to-date. Check for firmware updates and view details about your router, including model name and number, serial number, firmware version, and more. Plus, easily get a new WAN IP address or reboot your router.
Disclaimer: An active, customer purchased Internet Service Provider broadband account is required for connection of your router and other connected computers and devices to the Internet.

1 ★ As others have mentioned, this app now forces you to download the other app, which requires the release of too much personal information. Why would I even open my home network to the Internet just to manage my a WAP? Lame.
1 ★ Forces to update to the new stupid app that requires online registration to manage the router. This is insecure, and requires providing entirely unnecessary information to Linksys. Selecting the Later button still takes you to the app store to download the new app with decreased capability. Upgrades that remove features are not upgrades.
3 ★ It appears that the "Guest Access - Settings" does not work on a Nexus 7 (2013) running Android 5.1.1. Works fine on the Moto-X (First Gen) running Android 4.4.4.. Is there any plan to update this app with a Lollipop "fix" for the Guest Access Settings?
5 ★ Love being able to manage my router just using my phone. Sure the Web interface helps, but I don't have to enable .js for this to work. My unit locks up every 10 mins now. No clue! RoadRunner assumes it's me.
1 ★ Just wanted what it says it will do but it doesn't even run. Refuse to download the info grabbing, invasive, app it wants to force me to use. Complete waste of bits to download it. You owe me Linksys! Stuff like this is starting to make me regret buying your router!! Strike One! Since I only installed it yesterday... the return just might happen. Thought your company was digging its way back from the dark days under Cisco?
3 ★ I have the e4200 router, re1000 range expander and.the.media bridge in a fairly good.size home 3000sf. Most recently the range expander provide very weak signals on the side of the home.opposite from the router. Within the last seveal days I am not able.to access the wi fi network on my devices unless I am within a few feet of the range expander. I have even reset and rebooted all devices - modem, rputer, range expander. Looking for new equipment at this point. Still like Linksys Cisco products
