Our Velop product line features Bluetooth setup. In Android 6 and higher, apps must request location permissions to use Bluetooth. We don't collect or use any location information in our app.

5 ★ I used to work for dish so we learned alot about linksys.the product is simple to set up and works wonders the app is very simple to learn and will walk you through everything on setup and even after installation. Best thing I love about it is the management for wifi between priority or even knowing which is on what channel to adjust as need be.
5 ★ I love this app! It automatically updates the firmware and can restart the smart linksy router from anywhere. It's a lifesaver. For years, with the old linksys, I had to send my niece to my house in another state to manually reboot it when my IP camera stopped working. Love it!!!
4 ★ I could have given it 5 stars, until I discovered android phones can't connect to the guest network. The guest login page returns as error when loading. But everything is a-ok, aside from the little part when the device is actually offline but it shows as connected as ethernet on the device list.
1 ★ This is awful!! I bought a new router and this will not connect. I have never had trouble connecting a simple router, but this app will not recognize it or connect. Now I have to go back to my old router. What a waste of money because of this app.
5 ★ I love using this app, I have the Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 5 system which has 3 Nodes Connected Individually as their own wifi network instead of Mesh, mesh didn't work for me because of my walls so I ran CAT-7 cables underneath my home from my master Router to each node to make this possible. What I like the most about this app is that I can custom name my devices that are on each Node through WiFi, select an icon & even prioritize up to 3 devices for the fastest speeds. It's awesome!
1 ★ It is a very bad app. It is not at all recognizing my already connected router. Also, the router is causing multiple issues. Whenever there is a powercut, it won't connect unless reset to its factory settings or restarted multiple times.
1 ★ The parental controls on this app would be fantastic if it ever actually worked! I have set up different schedules to allow access to the internet at different times on multiple devices but the app will randomly change these times or enable/disable the times on other devices. I also have certain websites blocked on devices (YouTube - to stop obsessive watching) and again the app will randomly unblock or reblock the website. It is completely random and absolutely infuriating!
4 ★ Just got a new router. Mine was so outdated. Easy for me to install in about 15 mins. I like to see all the devices and shut some off if i know they are not being used atm. Working great so far.
1 ★ You're forced to use this app on new routers, with no way to set up the router the traditional way. It also has a useless interface and makes simple tasks like opening ports more confusing and difficult. Garbage app, garbage idea.
4 ★ The app is reasonably complete. However, for some basic functions like dhcp-reservations I'm missing parts. These can be done in a regular browser, like the old products.
1 ★ Very glitchy.. regularly need to reconfigure nodes, and app also crashes or is unable to connect with node when trying to resolve problems. Bought 1 month ago and have different issues each week.
1 ★ This app is absolutely useless. Find your router? Yep, connected to it currently. Access your router? No, call this 800 # instead. Hopeful for a working update soon.
1 ★ Me Wifi mesh fails to be freed by the app even after following the steps. No way out to continue setting up the mesh wifi - Returning product because of this dumb app. What a customer unfriendly app this is!!
4 ★ Works great, has a useful tool for decongesting the network, but needs to be triggered. This function could be automated.
5 ★ It's a little bit of a pain to figure out how to set up a fixed IP the first time you use the app, but after that it's pretty easy to use and has most features an average home user would want.
