Description
Test the brightness/intensity of light sources using your phone light meter. The light meter can be used for various applications industry and STEM education: to investigate the inverse-square law from a point source of light and true magnitudes of light bulb brightness (as our eyes do not directly perceive comparative brightness accurately due to the constriction and retraction of the pupil) in physics, solar intensity variations dependent upon weather or angle of incidence, the ability of objects and surfaces to absorb, reflect, and/or transmit light in Earth and space sciences, and to determine the concentrations of colored solutions through the derivation of Beer's Law in chemistry.

5 ★ Don't listen to the person who said it only has 2 values, it works perfectly, this person was probably testing it with a flashlight in a dark room or something.. Also, the developer tells me that he is working on an RGB version. If you like this app then try out the Physics Toolbox Suite (by the same developer) to take advantage of all of the sensors on your device! It includes this app and many more all in one package that is still free, still has no ads, and still uses minimal permissions (so it's non-invasive).

5 ★ 4,5 The option for refresh rate is not very helpfull as all of them seem to be too close together and bassically you have very fast, slightly faster, a bit slightly faster and faster just one bit more. Great tool tough, good sensor readings and very well done graph with auto scaling and stuff. Good job!
