Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

2 ★ Automatically subscribed to an expensive bonus thing. I did not ask for and it is very difficult to leave it
3 ★ It's not as navigable or feature-rich as Kindle or Google's Play Books. But like them, it offers (1) substantial price advantage over printed books, (2) ability to adjust the font size, and (3) portability. Improvements that would induce me to buy more e-books: (1) better navigation, (2) a way to delete sample ebooks, and (3) ability to stay logged in after closing the app. It would also be great if there was a second app for purchasing the many types of products offered by this company.
