1 ★ Pretty good little app with many positives. Edit after reporting it a couple months ago: The favorites list is still completely broken and unusable when you have more than 8-9 items. After removing all my favorites and adding new ones and connecting android auto(or killing the app to simulate) some of the old favorites are back and my new ones are gone. Really basic bug that should be easy to reproduce and solve and makes the app unusable for me. I can also not remove 'orphaned' favorites.
2 ★ Not really impressed, annoying popups if you don't register, charging stations that are missing. Just wondering if this is for the EU market and not States.
5 ★ After 6 months of use and 1yr of BEV driving, and apart form the Tesla Supercharger experience, Chargemap offers by far the best app / charging experience. I was hesitant because of some negative reviews, but I'm only positive until today.
5 ★ So far it's working very well - much, much better than my Ford network card. All the way from Yorkshire down to the French Alps and not a hitch. The French really seem to be on point for supporting EVs - a complete refresh c.f. the UK (and I am English). I just want to have the Tesla payment interface sorted. Not only does every supermarket have a bank of rapid chargers (150Kw/h and up) and a stack of Tesla chargers just waiting to be used as well. Ta Chargemap for showing how to do it well.
3 ★ Would be a very good app. BUT I have had 3 cases now, where charging stations were not usable with the Chargemap badge, despite of them being shown in the app. You really need to work on that, Chargemap management!
4 ★ A 🪲 Issue description: Route planner doesn't send route to Waze when operating chargemap from the infotainment system. Steps to reproduce: 1. Plan a route with multiple stops. 2. Save the route 3. While driving open chargemap and waze in a split screen 4. On chargemap open the saved route 5. Send a stop to Waze app Expected result: * The stop should be sent to Waze maps Actual result: * The stop is NOT sent to waze * The user must use his phone while driving to achieve expected results.
1 ★ Now a really annoying location notification that can't be good rid of. -edit- I shouldn't have to go into my phone settings to remove an unnecessary notification.
5 ★ Well done app. Help them getting all the charging stations on there. Would suggest a dark mode to finish it off.
5 ★ If you are going to continental Europe, this is a 'must have'. It's as necessary as a passport. Never again will you be wondering where the next charge can be found and whether you have the right app. Took all the stress of taking an EV in rural France!
1 ★ Extremely high charge rates. One pound sterling per kilowatt hour when others charge between 45 pence and 70 pence. Maps of chargers are inaccurate and do not show all chargers. For instance, map doesn't show my local Source London charging stations. Very poor app.
5 ★ It's good but flawed, real time information on charger availability is sometimes lacking. overall positive experience. I a colour system (Red, Amber, Green) on price per kWh would be beneficial.
5 ★ Definitely the best app to find a charging station. Quite exhaustive. The support is nothing to be compared with any other app ! We exchanged mails over almost a week to find the reason why I couldn't install the app. They were kind, reactive and supportive. My problem got solved thanks to them. Highly recommend it, even for only that reason.
4 ★ I would recommend it but there are a couple of problems. I would like to plan the journey in advance but can't open it on my desktop PC or on my laptop. Would much prefer to do the forward planning on the bigger screens. It also sometimes recommends too many charge stops, for instance it needlessly recommended a 1 minute stop even thought there was plenty of indicated range left to get to the next stop. 1 minute stop is pointless and when I tried to delete it it simply replaced it with another nearby charger lasting 1 minute?
2 ★ A good number of charging stations are nicely listed with photos. However, I rate the app mostely negative as distance unit is set according phone language, no in-app setting available on that! Charging costs in Euro instead of local currency. Costs shown are more expensive Chargemap rates instead of local rates. Route planner does list my car, but when panning a route it says that the car is not supported yet.
4 ★ Great app. Used on our jouney from the UK to the south of France. Easy to use and filter through desired chargers. The route planning works well although the motorway service filter doesn't work when planning a route. It does work though when just using on the map. The card makes charging quick and easy. Highly recommended for driving an EV in Europe.
