4 ★ I would like to give five stars but there are so many birds missing. But the description of the birds and the call option are very good, so all in all it's a great app!
5 ★ As a visitor to NZ but interested in the bird life I found this app to both informative and easy to use. No books to carry. Spot the bird. Open the app. Get the info. Excellent.

2 ★ Very basic, doesn't even show common birds like oyster catcher or even a sea gull.
3 ★ Has 54 species as of January 2017. A number are rare species, meaning that many common species aren't here. But the birds that are... Are decently covered.
