Description

Think you’re a good driver? Let DriveUP put you to the test. DriveUP, a free app from Cellcontrol, gives you a comprehensive look into your driving performance. From braking, acceleration, and speeding to how much you use your phone and more, it’s all factored into your score at the end of each trip. DriveUP then uses these scores to give you valuable feedback on how you can improve your performance. Compete against yourself or with friends; not only will you have fun, but you’ll become a safer, smarter driver in the process!

DriveUP can automatically identify whether you are the driver or the passenger in a vehicle and gives you scores and feedback based on the following:
Braking
Speed
Cornering
Aggressive Driving
Mobile phone use while driving
and more

All of these factors affect your driving and phone scores. At the end of each trip, in addition to your scores, you’re sent a route of that trip. Each event that affected your score is marked on the route map, letting you know how you can improve your driving in the future.

App permissions

DriveUp 1.03 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to access information about networks.
