Download the latest Voltcraft SEM6000 application, version 4.43, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by CEI Conrad Electronic International (HK) Limited and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 4.43, 4.41, 4.2, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description

1 ★ Inaccurate. Just using it for a few hours and the app misbehaves. It registers 0.080 A and a PF of 0.000 at 70 W. When I use a Expect script on my Raspberry Pi to read the (raw?) data, it says 0.336 A with a PF of 0.86, which makes way more sense! Why such strange values? Why is only the power correct? Luckily I'm not planning to use the app, but only integrating it in my domotica software, but users planning on using the App be aware! Also the language defaults to German, without a setup menu..
5 ★ Very good product and app. Accurate and handy to track consumption via your phone. As another user mentioned, the on-off button needs a slider because its very easy to push it accidentally, also because it's placed near the bottom tabs. And maybe make it green color to be more flashy when it works and it's On, because now you can confuse it just with the grey fill. If you operate critical machines like a 3d printer you could mess up hours of work. Not the best UI in this respect.
1 ★ It can't find my device. Working on my htc u11, which has bluetooth 4.2. It works with my brother's iPhone & iPad.
2 ★ Connecting takes a long time. Every time this app is launched, it has to rescan for the plugs, even though it should just remember them. The UI is quite poor. Basic functionality like switching, fetching data and exporting works, but doesn't seem extremely reliable.
1 ★ Poor. After app update the SEM6000 is no longer detected, app no longer detected device which had been working correctly until. On Android had to re-enable location services for SEM6000 app and then it found my device (and you can turn location services off again). There's minimalist and then there's poorly documented...
1 ★ I liked the little thing and the app. After a while I have had problems to connect to the power meter. Data were lost and it took several attempts to connect.
2 ★ Does calculate amperage incorrectly. For 1000W power and 230V voltage it shows 0.12A. Doesn't allow arbitrary currency setting (can be a string, really...). Needs access to GPS to be able to connect to the device (?).
4 ★ Simple, easy, no bugs detected. It's a bluetooth device. It takes aprox. 10 to 12 seconds to connect. 30d max memory so connect once a month if you you want an exact history
3 ★ One BIG REQUEST for the makers: convert the big 'OFF' button into a slider, so that you cannot accidentally press it! My computer will appreciate that a lot!

2 ★ Is there an explanation as to why the new update now requires location access? Hate to be paranoid, but it doesn't seem to like a requirement for retrieving information from the smart meter
1 ★ Die App benötigt um zu funktionieren Zugriff auf die Standortdaten. Die App konnte deshalb nicht verwendet werden und wurde deinstalliert. Ich frage mich wozu die Standortdaten erhoben werden, wenn ich per Bluetooth auf die Geräte zugreife (Radius max. 20m) Sofern die App irgendwann ohne diese Datensammelgier auf den Markt kommt, werde ich diese gerne nochmals testen.
