Seventh-day Adventists believe that God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day (Saturday), giving the gift of observance of this day for all mankind. By observing today on Saturday as the Sabbath, we recognize as our creator and our existence takes on meaning and purpose, in addition to all the physical, mental and social benefit that gives the rest one day a week and meet with friends who profess same faith, spend time with family and perform acts of service for the good of the community.
