Description
OceanCompass guides you throughout your journey, enables point-to-point wayfinding across the ship, and helps you locate friends and family on board.
OceanNav™ makes getting around the ship a breeze. Find your way around the ship with turn-by-turn directions and view ship maps of restaurants, venues, and even members of your travel party (we call them ShipMates™).
ShipMates™ offers peace of mind by letting you know the whereabouts of family members on board.
App permissions
OceanCompass™ 2.2.34 APK requires following permissions:

2 ★ When it works, its feature rich. Does not work most of the time, logs me out frequently despite me using the Remember Me button. Had difficulty finding shipmates at times. And lacks basic features like what times are restaurants open. Their Medallion support team was trying but basically said well you have an Android and we don't know how to fix it. They were clearly using workarounds for wifi problems. For this major of a rollout, they did not test this product enough. Highly frustrating.
1 ★ Terrible app. Can't even download the app ON THE SHIP! also, what were they thinking making you download a separate app for every single thing you need on the ship. worthless.
1 ★ Ridiculous. I have been trying for 5 hours to get on this! No one seems to know why.
1 ★ What a ridiculous pile of garbage this app is. It won't accept the credentials I use to log in to the Princess web site, and it also won't allow me to create an account. Any time I enter data in a field and then dismiss the keyboard, it clears the field. Randomly can't find my reservation. Nobody tested this trash at all. What a waste of 101MB.
1 ★ Terrible app. Logs me out, then cant log in again without multiple attempts. The remember me function does not work. Great concept, poor execution.
1 ★ intermittent at best. had to ask concierge for help to log in. he had to do some work around. refuses to remember me. freezes at times. cumbersome...
1 ★ Awful app needs a lot of work. You can login and that's about it. I was hoping to use the chat feature to communicate with family during the cruise and nothing worked.
2 ★ great potential, but you have to fix the locate/text minor policy that you've implemented. I had two bookings for two separate rooms. With my father in law in the other room with my 16, 14 and 11 year old sons, Ocean Compass did not allow me to locate it text them.

1 ★ This app is slow, bogs down the phone, and shows locations of "shipmates" that are out of date. I am a software developer and if I consistently produced code like this I would be unemployed. If the company I work for pushed out products like this, they would go out of business. This app needs significant work to be even marginally useful.
1 ★ At first the app linked with ocean ready to include my reservation. Now not only does it not link to my reservation, but I'm told now that its not supposed to work unless you are on board. This whole suite of apps seems to me to be an epic fail. The app STILL has not been updated to include the Royal Princess, which I sail on in three weeks!! I sent an email to the developer over a week ago, and have gotten no response.
